Huntu's power and martial abilities kept rising as the battle raged as he developed his potential during the fight. With a burst of dark red lightning, he charged, his bastard sword cleaving through the air with deadly intent.
Vlad's response was a calculated dodge, using Lightning Charge to appear behind Huntu once more. He aimed a strike at the back of Huntu's knee, hoping to destabilize the giant demon. The blades connected, sending a jolt of energy through the High Abyssal Champion's leg.
However, those blades, which should have been able to crush a massive tree like a small branch, failed to break Huntu's stance, and the skeletal demon remained standing.
Vlad's eyes widened in surprise as the attack carried immense force, but then saw how the defensive mantle of dark red lightning was now concentrated on the back of the High Champion Abyssal. It seemed that Hortu had learned from the previous sneak attack and redirected his mantle of protection to focus on his blind spot.
