After Yan Qing left, Ling Hua fumbled to apply medicine to herself once more. It took some effort, but at least she didn't need to trouble him.

Ling Hua, exhausted from the efforts of half the night and the following day, quickly fell asleep to the sound of water behind the screen without her thoughts wandering into disarray.
When Yan Qing emerged from behind the screen, he heard Ling Hua's even breathing.
After thinking for a moment, he stepped out of the room and instructed the young boy, "Bring the meals later."
