After Dante had managed to approach Netherius and landed a powerful punch on his chest, the ghostly figure of Beatrice summoned a sword out of thin air and stabbed the necromancer in the shoulder.
By that point in the battle, Balthazar was already out for the count, and Asphodel was running purely on adrenaline as her injuries were quite severe.
Netherius himself was wobbling while trying to stay on his feet, and Dante's body was feeling strained after using so much 'ether' magic.
Varamor, the Dragon King, tried to keep fighting with one arm, but when he sensed a couple of new presences nearby, Dante ordered him to investigate.
The death ichor that covered the necropolis was completely gone, with only a few necrotic cores remaining in random places that would be easy to deal with once the battle was over.
As more of Netherius' bone armor crumbled, a piece of his mask covering his mouth broke apart, showing the necromancer's serious expression lying underneath.
