Danzo stepped forward, his voice urgent. "We must find the one responsible and silence them before they strike again."
Hiruzen nodded slowly, but his mind was racing.
Whoever did this... they know everything.
His gut twisted with the realization that someone was out there, moving pieces on the board, and he was powerless to stop them.
"Inform the ANBU," Hiruzen ordered. "We are on high alert. No one enters or leaves the village without my permission."
The crowd was buzzing now, whispering about the sudden tension.
Hiruzen straightened, hiding his fear behind a mask of authority.
'I cannot show weakness. Not now.'
Danzo stepped closer, his voice was soft but insistent. "We must act, Hiruzen. For the good of the village."
Hiruzen closed his eyes, a wave of exhaustion washing over him.
'I have always done what I thought was best for Konoha...'
He reminded himself.
But is it enough?'
Opening his eyes, he faced Danzo.
"Fine," He said, his voice hollow. "We will contain this. But you will not exploit this tragedy, Danzo. Konoha's future must be decided by the people, not through fear."
Danzo's lips curved into a thin smile.
"Of course, Hiruzen," He said smoothly. "We will do whatever is necessary... for the village."
But Hiruzen wasn't fooled. He knew that Danzo was already plotting, using this crisis as a stepping stone to power.
'I must find a way to stop him, Hiruzen vowed silently. Before it's too late.'
But deep down, a chilling fear whispered that it already was.
Soon, the funeral was over and everyone returned to their house. Naruto quickly excused himself, something that he wanted to do for a long time.
Naruto stood in the center of his room, the air thick with a tingling energy. His hands moved fluidly, tracing symbols in the air.
Chaos Magic shimmered around him, blending with his innate chakra. The dim light in the room flickered as if reacting to the power he was summoning.
His lips curled into a grin. "Let's see what this 'Summoning' thing can really do," he muttered to himself, the excitement evident in his voice.
"Time to test it out!"
He clapped his hands together, and the symbols floating before him surged into a swirling vortex of dark and crimson energy. The room was filled with a low hum, growing louder as the portal expanded.
Naruto's piercing blue eyes glowed with anticipation as he stepped back, watching the spectacle unfold.
Suddenly, the portal stabilized, and from its depths emerged a figure—a young girl, about 15, stepping cautiously into his room. She had raven-black hair tied in a messy ponytail and a pair of round glasses resting on her delicate nose. Her outfit was strikingly bold: a sleeveless, tight crop top, paired with short, revealing shorts and high boots. Her exposed skin glowed faintly in the magical light of the portal.
The girl's crimson Sharingan eyes scanned her surroundings before locking onto Naruto. Her expression shifted from confusion to shock.
"N-Naruto… Hokage-sama?" she stammered, her voice a mix of disbelief and awe.
Naruto raised an eyebrow, his grin widening. 'Hokage? Well, this is interesting.'
He crossed his arms, leaning casually against his desk. "That's me, but not quite the version you're thinking of,"
He said smoothly, his voice rich and confident. "Looks like you've got the wrong timeline, Sarada Uchiha."
Sarada's eyes widened further.
"You… You know me?" She asked hesitantly. "But you're… younger."
She glanced around, her confusion deepening. "Where am I? What's going on?"
Naruto gestured toward his bed, his demeanor calm and inviting.
"Take a seat, and I'll explain everything," He said, his tone gentle yet commanding.
Sarada hesitated for a moment but eventually sat down, her hands gripping the edges of the bed. Naruto pulled up a chair, and sat across from her, his gaze never leaving hers.
"You're in a different world," Naruto began, his voice soothing yet firm. "A parallel universe, to be precise. I summoned you here by accident while testing a new ability. I'm not the Hokage you know—I'm much younger and different, and let's just say, this world is also very different from yours."
Sarada blinked, her mind racing. "Parallel universe? But why would you—?"
She shook her head, trying to process the information. "In my world… you were the strongest, the protector of Konoha. But now you're—"
"A kid?" Naruto finished for her, chuckling. "Yeah, I get that. Must be weird for you, seeing me like this. But trust me, I'm not as ordinary as I look."
His eyes flickered with a dark energy, a brief glimpse of the immense power he wielded.
Sarada's shoulders slumped, her expression softening.
"I don't know what to think," She admitted. "In my world, everything is falling apart. The strongest shinobi are gone. My father, you, Boruto… all gone. I've been fighting alone for so long."
Naruto leaned forward, his voice dropping to a comforting tone. "Sounds rough. But you're not alone anymore."
"You've got me now," He said with an unusually soft tone, placing a hand on her shoulder. His touch was light but firm, exuding a strange sense of security.
Sarada looked up, her eyes meeting his. "But… how can I trust you? You're not the same Naruto I knew."
Naruto's grin softened into a reassuring smile. "True, but I still carry the same spirit. And trust me, I've got a knack for protecting people I care about."
His voice lowered, taking on a more serious tone. "Stick with me, and you'll be safe. We'll figure this out together."
Sarada studied him for a moment before nodding slowly. "Alright. I'll trust you, Naruto."
Naruto's grin returned, though there was a hint of mischief behind it. "Good. Now that we're on the same page, let's make the most of your time here."
He stood up, pacing the room thoughtfully. "You've been through a lot, Sarada. Fighting alone in a broken world… that's tough for anyone, especially someone as young as you. But here, you can start fresh. No more burdens, no more battles—just a chance to live."
Sarada's eyes softened, a hint of gratitude breaking through her guarded expression.
"That… sounds nice," She admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
Naruto turned back to her, his eyes gleaming with a mix of charm and cunning. "Exactly. And who better to help you relax than me? I'll take care of you, Sarada. All you have to do is trust me and follow my lead."
Sarada felt a strange warmth in his words, a sense of comfort she hadn't felt in a long time.
Naruto's grin widened as he saw the flicker of doubt in her eyes.
'Good. Let her question things. It'll make her easier to mold.'
He sat back down beside her, his voice taking on a softer, more soothing tone. "You're safe here, Sarada. And I'll make sure you stay that way. No more fighting, no more running. Just… peace."
Sarada nodded again, her resolve strengthening.
"Thank you, Naruto," She said, her voice filled with genuine gratitude.
Naruto smiled, his eyes twinkling. "Anytime. Now, let's get you settled in."
Over the next hour, Naruto explained more about his world, carefully guiding Sarada through the differences while subtly weaving his influence into their conversation. He listened intently as she shared her experiences, offering support and comfort at every turn.
As the evening wore on, Sarada began to relax, the weight of her past slowly lifting under Naruto's careful manipulation. She felt a growing sense of trust toward him, her initial doubts fading.
Naruto, meanwhile, was already planning his next move. He knew he had Sarada's trust, and now it was only a matter of time before she was fully under his control. With his charm, power, and cunning, he would shape her into a loyal ally—someone who would stand by his side, no matter what.
And as the night settled over Konoha, Naruto couldn't help but smile. His plans were falling into place, and the future was looking brighter than ever.
