Homura Mitokado walked out of the Hokage's office, his footsteps heavy with exhaustion and grief. The moon shone pale and cold, bathing Konoha in an eerie glow as the elder made his way through the quiet streets toward his home. As he stepped into the large courtyard of his estate, the silence seemed to press down on him, thick and suffocating.

Homura entered his house, closing the door softly behind him. He lingered for a moment, his aged hands tracing the grooves of the wooden door. Memories of his comrade Koharu flashed before his eyes: missions undertaken together, moments of triumph, and arguments over the fate of Konoha.

"Koharu…" he whispered, his voice breaking. He stepped into his room, shutting the door behind him, and sank into a chair. Mourning took hold of him, but it was laced with an unsettling feeling that he couldn't quite shake off. The air in the room felt too still, the shadows too deep.

A low chuckle echoed from the corner, sending a shiver down Homura's spine.

"You look like a man teetering on the edge," a voice drawled, playful yet dark. Homura's eyes widened, his instincts flaring, but before he could react, a masked figure stepped from the shadows. The oni mask was frightening, its eyes empty yet filled with a promise of violence.

"Who are you?" Homura demanded, trying to mask his fear.

The figure tilted his head. The moonlight caught strands of sun-bright hair that peeked from beneath the mask. "You don't recognize me, do you, old man?" Naruto's voice was a mixture of youthful mirth and a menacing undercurrent. "It's almost insulting."

Homura tensed, his fingers inching toward a concealed kunai, but Naruto blurred forward. In a split second, he had Homura pinned against the wall, a hand wrapped around the elder's throat.

"Too slow," Naruto mocked, his grip tightening slightly. Homura struggled, but the strength was unnatural, overwhelming. Chaos magic seeped from Naruto, making the elder's body stiffen.

"Y-You won't get away with this!" Homura choked out. "I'm a respectable ninja, one of Konoha's protectors. I've served the village—"

Naruto threw his head back and laughed, a sound so cold it made Homura's skin crawl. "Respectable? You think you're a hero, don't you?" He leaned in, his voice lowering to a whisper. "You, Koharu, Hiruzen, Danzo… all of you have a lot of skeletons hiding in the closet. Or should I say… buried corpses?"

Homura's face paled, his bravado faltering. "I… don't know what you're talking about."

Naruto's eyes glinted with sinister amusement behind the oni mask. "Oh, really? How about we start with the Uchiha massacre?" He twisted his fingers, and Homura's knees buckled, a wave of magic forcing him to collapse. "All that blood, all those innocent lives… wiped out because of a decision you and your 'respectable' friends made in the dark."

"You can't… prove anything," Homura wheezed, his body trembling from the oppressive magic.

Naruto crouched beside him, tilting his head mockingly. "No?" His voice dripped with scorn. "I know everything, old man. The way you and the others used Itachi, manipulating a boy to slaughter his own clan. The cover-ups, the lies… and let's not forget the cruel experiments on shinobi who dared to defy your will."

Homura's eyes widened in terror, his mind racing. "Who… who told you all this?" His voice was desperate, cracking with panic.

Naruto chuckled. "I have my ways. Let's just say I know all your little secrets." He held out a hand, and Chaos Magic swirled around his fingers. "And you're going to help me."

Homura tried to resist, his mind screaming in defiance, but Naruto's magic latched onto him like iron chains. His consciousness slipped, and he felt himself losing control. "What… are you doing to me?" he croaked, his will crumbling under the pressure.

Naruto's smile grew. "Just a bit of hypnosis," he said. "Relax, old man. I need you to give me everything."

Homura's pupils dilated as the magic invaded his mind. He felt an overwhelming compulsion take hold, his body moving against his will. He stumbled to a hidden compartment in his room, his hands obeying Naruto's silent commands. With shaking fingers, he retrieved a bundle of old scrolls, files that contained evidence of the Council's darkest crimes.

"Good," Naruto said, his voice smooth and mocking. He sifted through the documents, his eyes lighting up with triumph. "You've been busy hiding all this dirt, haven't you?"

Homura's lips moved without his consent. "Yes… we had to protect Konoha… at any cost." His eyes glistened with tears, the horror of his own betrayal dawning on him.

Naruto's laughter rang out, harsh and mocking. "Protect Konoha? By staining it with innocent blood?" He shook his head. "You elders are all the same. Sacrificing others to keep your twisted vision of peace."

Tears slipped down Homura's cheeks. "We did what we had to… for the village," he whispered, his voice cracking.

Naruto's gaze hardened. "Save your excuses. Now, one last thing." He waved a hand, and Homura's body jerked, moving toward his desk. Naruto's magic compelled him to pick up a brush, ink dripping onto a blank scroll.

"Write," Naruto ordered, his voice filled with dark command.

Homura's hand obeyed, scrawling out a confession. His fingers trembled as he wrote, each stroke a painful betrayal of his carefully crafted persona. His heart pounded in his chest, the realization of his fate dawning on him.

When the letter was finished, Naruto read it, satisfaction gleaming in his eyes. "Perfect. Now… time for the finale."

Homura's body moved on its own, his fingers tightening around the hilt of a kunai. His eyes widened in terror, struggling against the compulsion, but it was useless. The magic had complete control.

"P-Please…" Homura whimpered, his voice weak and broken. "I-I don't want to die…"

Naruto's smile was cold and merciless. "Funny. Did you think your victims wanted to die, either? Farewell, Homura. Your sins are coming home to roost."

A silent scream echoed in Homura's mind as his own hand drove the kunai into his chest. His body slumped forward, blood pooling onto the floor as the life drained from his eyes. The room grew still, and the only sound was the slow drip of crimson onto the wooden boards.

Naruto stood over the fallen elder, a twisted satisfaction in his gaze.

"Two down," He murmured, turning back toward the shadows. "And two more to go."

With a final laugh that echoed into the empty night, Naruto vanished, leaving the room shrouded in darkness and silence.
