**Jessica's POV**
"Have you not heard? Her biological parents are missing," Cecilia said as she pointed to Rachel. Rachel had a beautiful face, but I could see right through her. There was something off about the whole thing. However, I couldn't help but feel relieved that I had finally pinned it down. I was only two days away from my escape, and I now knew who the female alpha was. But would I sell her to Lucas? While I trusted him, I still believed that family was family. What did he want to do with her? Why did he want to discover her identity so badly? That was still a mystery to me.
"So, what does that mean?" Riley asked as she stared at Cecilia. Cecilia, seeming to lead the conversation, walked towards Rachel and placed a supportive hand on her shoulder. I still didn't understand how Cecilia managed to have everyone crushed under her thumb, and how Emily, despite her fightful spirit and sense of direction, worked like a pupped at the hands of Cecelia.
