"What? Jerome is that mutant's contractor?!"
Earlier, Lionel had called Atha, Regine, and Xavier and told them what his brother had told him. He wished to summon the other four No-face squad members, but they were on a mission in another realm. Even Nana and Fye were not in the Werewolf Realm.
"Are you sure?" Regine exhaled a resigned sigh, realizing that the emergency regarding this mutant was worse than she had imagined.
"Jerome told me himself. Believe me, I don't even want to acknowledge it."
"I heard from Fye that Jerome fought that mutant in Beast World. Did that mutant not recognize his own contractor?" Atha didn't understand how it was possible that the mutant couldn't recognize his sole weakness and attacked Jerome repeatedly.
If the mutant still wanted to live, instead of attacking, shouldn't he have protected the contractor instead? If Jerome dies, so would he.
