Wyatt Perry opened the bedroom door; the curtains were tightly drawn, enveloping the room in darkness even in broad daylight, with a figure barely visible lying on the bed.
He walked into the pitch-dark room and turned on the light.
"Claudia, we're going to the hospital."
Wyatt Perry sat at the edge of the bed, gently tapping Yuliana Ross's shoulder through the blanket.
"I just took some medicine, I'll be fine after a rest, no big deal."
Yuliana Ross buried her face in the blanket, leaving only her eyes visible, fearing that Wyatt Perry would notice something amiss.
Her eyes were the feature most successfully altered to resemble Claudia Ross's, nearly indistinguishable from the real ones.
Originally, Yuliana Ross had double eyelids, and since childhood, she had envied Claudia Ross's large, round eyes.
Now that she finally had big eyes, she would often become entranced with her own reflection in the mirror.
Her greatest wish now was to mesmerize Wyatt Perry.
