"Hmph, are you that anxious about her?" Maddie Summers withdrew her foot and sneered, "Would you really do anything for her?"
"Yes, for Nana, I'm willing to do anything."
Jayden Maguire looked toward Nana Monty, his gaze becoming exceptionally tender: "Nana, don't be afraid, I won't let anyone hurt you, I'm here to take you home."
"Mmm mmm... mmm mmm..."
Nana Monty nodded desperately, tears cascading down her face.
Her mouth was sealed with tape, unable to speak.
She wanted to tell him, she wasn't afraid, even if it means climbing up a mountain of swords or descending into a sea of flames, with him by her side, she wasn't afraid.
