The Death Guardian can equip items, as long as it meets the requirements. ]

"Damn, this is one powerful skill," Michael mumbled as he looked at him.

The Death Guardian knelt, a heavy voice resonating from him. "Oh, great one who has created me, please bestow upon me a name," he said, his tone filled with reverence.

Michael focused on the scene before him, stunned.

"You can speak?" he asked, watching as the Death Guardian nodded.

"I guess you can, but you're the silent type, huh?" Michael mused. He thought for a moment, considering a fitting name.

'He was a guardian, a protector… Victor,' Michael thought before speaking aloud.

"Your name is Victor Fang from now on," he declared.

The ??? above the Death Guardian's head shifted, transforming into a golden nameplate: Victor Fang.

[Congratulations! You have created your first Death Guardian.]

[However, you have only just begun your journey.]

[Now, you need to design your own Mark.]

[The Death Mark will appear on the Death Guardian and all subordinates who have submitted to you. Once designed, it will be permanently set.]

[Please choose carefully.]

"Hm, okay," Michael muttered as he traced his finger over the interface in front of him. He envisioned the mark, drawing it carefully on the canvas.

Soon, the design was finalized—a crescent black moon with a sword piercing through it upside down.

[Will you make this your permanent Mark?]

The system asked, and Michael pressed "Yes."

[Mark finalized.]

As the notification rang, the Death Guardian's chest gleamed. On the right side of his chest, the same mark began to glow in black light, its eerie presence radiating power. The symbol was clearly visible despite its dark and matching tone with armor.

"So, will you just follow me from now on?" Michael asked.

The Death Guardian lifted his head and replied, "Master, I can reside within your shadow and emerge whenever you wish."

Michael nodded. "Then stay hidden in my shadow until I call you back."

At his command, Victor Fang dissolved into black mist, vanishing seamlessly into Michael's shadow.

[New Skill Learned!]

[Death Guardian Summon]

You can summon your Death Guardian even if they are far away.

Cooldown: 25 hours. ]

"I should go to Reinhardt now," Michael mumbled as he set out.

The Golem Army invasion had already begun. He only had two days to reach Reinhardt.

Right now, they were in Pedro, but Michael, knowing the future, understood that the city was doomed. Pedro would fall, and the Giant Guild wouldn't be able to stop the invasion, allowing the Golems to advance toward Reinhardt.

It was also at this time that Grid obtained the Reidan city and Duke nobility.
