Hai Ling'er pushed Xia Yunsheng into the hospital room.
Mrs. Xia looked up happily, "Sheng!"
Since Yunsheng hadn't shown up until now, her arrival seemed to give Mrs. Xia renewed hope.
Yunsheng remained indifferent and was not overly affectionate to her mother, "I happen to have some free time, so I came to check up on you."
As soon as Mrs. Xia saw her daughter's indifference, she became very reserved, "Sheng, would you like some tea? Let Anning pour it for you. Anning, hurry up, pour some water for your sister."
Yunsheng glanced at Song Anning, not forgetting that just a second ago she had been bad-mouthing her, "No need for water. I doubt I'd want to drink the water she pours."
Her eyes were fixed on Song Anning, who glanced at Yunsheng and shifted her gaze away in guilt.
Yunsheng's presence was too commanding; standing before her, Anning always felt uneasy all over.
