Something extremely loud interrupts the quiet of the night, it was like a comet, only it exists on earth instead of in the sky and is streaking through the forest.
Its fiery orange trail illuminates the night, while anything in front of it is ripped, destroyed and eradicated from this world by its power.
"I'm gonna chop, chop, chop, dismember, la, la, la, la~. Hahahahaha."
Laughing like a maniac, Asahiko, who is surrounded by flames and running at full speed, stops, looks at the surroundings, then turns to the right.
"Aghh... Because... Because I'm not dead..."
Twisting under the right arm of Asahiko, who carries her as if she were a package full of potatoes, Hitomiko opens her purple eyes that remain cloudy and expresses herself slowly.
Clearly Hitomiko's mind is not in the right order, asking her captor who sang that murky music because she is alive... Just something a lost person would do.
"Oh, look who opened her eyes, but if it's not Hitomiko, the half-dead priestess~"
"You... You're the demon who was fighting with her... Get out of the way, you dirty demon!"
"Demon yes, dirty no. On the other hand, remember you made me lose my sword... So if you don't behave, well, I'm going to consider using you as a substitute for it."
Taunting Hitomiko in a totally serious style, Asahiko is taken aback as he watches her face turn pale, just as if a horror scene is replaying in his head.
The good thing about the situation is that Hitomiko calmed down, not that she could make much of a fuss with her weakened body. On the other hand, Asahiko's words seemed to have left her traumatized, making it harder to talk to her afterwards.
"You... Are you planning to use me as a club? Just like the mountain ogres do?"
"Not a bad idea, since I've purified those two shards you had and now you should be more resilient... Um, um, priestess club, I like the sound of that."
Giving her a smile that lets all her teeth show, Asahiko seems to be really enjoying verbally harassing Hitomiko, so much so that even the desire to kill around her has thinned noticeably.
Another thing to note is the information that went unnoticed, such as that Asahiko has already purified the shards Hitomiko had and that she still keeps them.
"For, for... Please, please, please don't do that."
"AGH, what a nice shot. It's okay, I won't use you as a club, but as a talisman that talks and eats."
Nodding in his mental realm to himself, Asahiko seems quite pleased with his words, but even more so when he sees that Hitomiko is even more nervous.
*Boom*
Along with the sound of trees hitting the ground in the distance, a pair of ears become visible on Asahiko's head, so that he then runs towards that direction.
...Christopher/Asahiko pov...
Thanks to my superior senses I easily managed to determine that there was a battle going on in the area, so I was going to need both hands... Well, not really.
What? Is there a problem with satisfying my tastes for Hitomiko's reactions? Hahaha, look at you before you were all serious and now you're pale from being held by one of my tails.
"Put down that sword Inuyasha, if you don't Kagome dies!"
"AGH, you damn nasty witch!"
Letting my tails have fun with Hitomiko in the background, thus de-stressing myself, I watched forward and could see something really interesting.
First of all Inuyasha and Kagome have arrived to meet up with the rest of the group, though the former is fighting a three-tailed white fox... barehanded?.
"Is someone going to tell me what's going on here?"
"Asahiko...? Asahiko! We had thought the worst when we saw Kagura come back alone!"
Grabbing Shippo by the head who jumped towards me, he let out a sigh and in the end I just patted him before putting him down on the ground. What, I wasn't going to hit him, his concern seems quite sincere.
"You really gave us quite a scare, though you seem to be fine."
"Perhaps too well, Your Excellency, will you continue to ignore that tied up priestess?"
Ignoring Shippo who seems to have discovered a new continent, damn tanuki I'm never going to treat you right again. I turn my field of vision to Miroku who speaks full of camaraderie, but keeps his eyes glued to Hitomiko, before speaking to Sango.
"I understand your mistake Sango, but this isn't a priestess, it's... Priestly club 3000! Mark pending to be registered."
"AG, ahhsg!"
"Inuyasha!"
Looking away from Sango who maintains a totally bewildered expression at my words, I collide my eyes with Kagome who is clearly pissed, despite still being pretty bad, and I finally fall into why... Basically Inuyasha laughed at my words and got beaten up.
"I'm fine, Kagome... Asahiko, go and help me!"
"Oh, I thought you'd never say that~"
My, my, my, my, I continue to be amazed every time Inuyasha proves to have such sharp senses.
"Shut up and do it, no time for games!"
"Hold it right there, demon. Move even a little and I'll kill Kagome with the curse in an instant."
"OK, OK... I'm not moving~"
It was really interesting to see how the so-called dark priestess and her white snake trembled as she noticed that he spoke right in her ear, what? It was obvious she wasn't going to show up head on when she knew there was such an important battle going on.
"You, you..."
"Oh, yes, me."
"Explode!"
Damn the taste for making fun of people, though what can I do, it's instinctive. Other than that, the snake bits did nothing to me, though the blood mist was enough for the priestess to get away.... Or maybe not.
You have to be unlucky to escape from my hands and fall right into Inuyasha's. I would have recommended Sango or maybe Miroku, though those two are now busy with the fox.
Still the dark priestess survived, she only had to use one of her arms to redirect Steel Fang to the other side, just before it split her in half.
"You filthy beast! I'm going to kill her, now I am, Aghh!"
"For talking too much!"
Seeing the dark priestess' hand pierced by an arrow, I give her a life lesson that many villains fail at.
"Kagome you can't exert yourself like that."
"Miss Kagome, don't do this again, her condition is still delicate."
"Calm down, I... Cof, cof... I'm fine."
Watching as Sango and Miroku quickly go to help Kagome who just shot an arrow, I share a look with Inuyasha and we start to approach the dark priestess.
She had already lost one arm, the other was non-functional from the arrow and she had also dropped the pearl she once possessed to cast the curse.
"I say cut her to pieces, what do you say, Asahiko?"
"No, that's too much... How about burning her, you know, to purify her along with all the evil she's caused."
"Hahaha" x2
Laughing with great satisfaction along with Inuyasha, we slowly get closer and closer to the dark priestess, all to cause her some mental pressure.
"Why don't they let me choose me?"
Along with the booming voice of Naraku's certified stalker, a thick violet cloud descends from the sky and devours the priestess, leaving only the screams behind.
"Naraku!"
"Hello, Inuyasha and... Asahiko, I see you're still angry, do you want it back?"
"Oh, why don't you come and check."
Smiling at the idiot who now holds the shikon Pearl in his hand, I watch as he removes his cloak and reveals the hilt of Clouded Fang... It's obviously a trap, but I'm going to kill him.
"Hahaha, it'll be like this."
