"Have you found anything you'd like, my lady?" Hildegard asked, stepping closer the closet to see which she would point.
"Pick anything you like. They are all the same to me. At this rate, a pair of pants would be much more preferable," Edith said, causing the maids to exchange glances at each other.
It wasn't common for women to wear pants, but there have been rumors of some noble women asking for them, but they were only worn in private where no one would judge them.
"I'll see what I can do about it, my lady,' Hildegard said. She had made know to Evans the type of dresses Edith wanted, and he had assured her that they would be made available soon. He didn't even question her or show any strong emotion. So she assumed he wouldn't mind having a few pairs of pants made for her either.
"My lady, Sir Evans said the dresses you requested will be available soon. Please bear with it for now."
