Dark Pov
After going through the portal I found myself in a room that was not like the one the portal device was in [ dark the UNSC has completely revoked my access to their database] guess that means the facility comensed it's cleansing poetical so they must think I am dead at least that works in my favour with that thought I take a good look at my surroundings and see there's only one exit but not a single terminal to access the facilitys database "looks like we gonna have to find a terminal first so I can figure out where I am in the library" with that thought I reload my smgs and head to the door as I approach it opens to reveal an empty hallway.
I just know the Gravemind is aware I am here and will either try to stop me or start with it's dialogue trying to distract me while it's infection forms try to infect me at least I can not be infected but once the Gravemind realizes that than it will definitely want me dead and destroyed with that thought i begin making my way down the hallway as I make my journey i am being extra cautious since a Gravemind as old as this one should be able to utilise the forerunner tech thats how it was able to access the research facility and talked to me while I was there and it was here but now I am in it's territory it will have more control here so being cautious it mandatory all I need to do is get the key to the room from the game than my mission is done but I first need to find a terminal I can get a schematic or a map from otherwise if i have to rely on my luck i will not make it in time" wait technically I have extra time since the key is technically in the library and the ring will register it here even if it's in someone's possession" telling myself this I am not as pressed for time but I still need to get it there before the Arbiter can get to that room as well as avoid being seen by him otherwise it could effect the plot so with that thought I make my way down the hallway searching for a room that has a working terminal.
As I walk down the hallway as I expected flood kept coming out of the access tunnels used by the sentinels and attacking me I made quick work of them but it was more time consuming than the ones back at the research facility thanks to these ones having a connection to the Gravemind and I do not have the vial that was keeping them away from me. I just kill myway and as I do I notice as I get further in the sentinels begin appearing and they seem to be protecting me some even charge at flood that get to close and exploding eventhough I find it strange I just ignore it for now that's until Destiny speaks[ Dark I am getting reading through the communication device from these sentinels they have a similar signature to your system it appears who ever made them they possessed the same system you do] her comment came as a surprise if that's the case could these sentinels be programmed as guards for the system user " can you get a schematic from them so we can build them in future since they have a connection to the system maybe they were left here on purpose from a previous user" if I can get the schematic it would be great and even better if there's anydata in the sentinels from the previous user that might help [ Dark once I accessed them the system made a connection and began extracting all their data that's not all a new section of the system is open to you the blueprint creation and database section according to the data you can design things in the system and it will test it for you if it works as intended it will create a blueprint and than the user can use a construction facility from the shop or any ship or station that has one to create the object however you must note that only ships and stations from the system can use this feature it appears the previous user left the blueprint in these sentinels not sure why but thanks to the system connecting to them you can now give them orders using the same method you use to navigate the system] this news makes my day there's at least 20 of these thing I can use these to make my job easier but to my surprise after I look at the system there is a map in tge display guess that means the sentinel creater was kind enough to put a map in their databases with that i order the sentinels to follow me and kill any hostiles that stop me from getting to my destination.
A/N that's it for this chapter and the mysteries of the system are starting to appear who was the previous user who left the sentinels and why did he leave them on this ring in particular i hope you liked this chapter it took me a little longer to do this one since i was debating how many chapter this bit but I intend to try get this done as soon as possible so I can get to the stuff that's not driven by the games as usual thanks for reading.
