Jayden's hands under the table subconsciously clenched because of the overwhelming feeling of guilt, those were the same thoughts in his mind. The only reason he could think of why Christine Gomez, Petra's mother would go after Venessa was because he had a fake relationship with her.
Although Petra kept their relationship a secret her mother was among the few that knew.
"If it's indeed my fault that's why I will make sure to cure her as a way to atone for my sins," Jayden replied.
