"Your Highness, Basil Jaak requests an audience outside the estate."
In the brightly lit study, the Crown Prince, clad in fluttering brocade robes, was calmly writing calligraphy. Hearing Jorge's report, he remained motionless until he finished the last of the four characters on the table. He then set down his brush, a smile appearing on his lips, and said, "Tell him to wait in the drawing room."
Having said that, the Crown Prince picked up the freshly written characters and admired them carefully before setting them down and walking out of the study.
On the table, the four characters "Victory within grasp" danced like dragons and phoenixes.
"Ah, Basil Jaak, you've come so early today, are you here to accompany this palace in a game of chess? I narrowly won last time, and I presume you're not satisfied and wish for a rematch?" the Crown Prince said in high spirits.
All these days, it's been him who summoned Basil Jaak; this is the first time Basil Jaak has come uninvited.
