Han Dongchen saw Su Xiaowan's shy little manner and couldn't help but break into silent laughter, his lips turning up into a smile. He hadn't expected the youngster to be so amusing, fearless, and yet so susceptible to flattery.
It turned out she too could feel embarrassed, she too could blush from praise; this was the first time Han Dongchen had witnessed it, so after a moment's thought, he said, "Naturally, it's you. Could there be any doubt?"
At his words, Su Xiaowan bit her lower lip, swallowed, lowered her eyes, and after a swirl, cleared her throat, her face slightly red as she spoke, "Cough cough, actually, well, I'm not as good as you say I am, hehe, but, Dongchen, what you say sounds really good."
Having said that, she dived into Han Dongchen's embrace, face flushed with shyness, and lowered her head, never to look up again. Don't blame Su Xiaowan for seeming so smitten, it was just that, really, she rarely received such praise.
