Raven could feel some annoyance at how clingy Rose was being with him, but he supposed he did understand why she was being this clingy to him because of what happened.
However there was at your side clingy, then there was holding onto you clingy. Rose was both.
However one look into her eyes had all the desire to shove her off him go away. The terror, fear and so many more emotions was insane and he just sat there as she clung to him.
"Mr. Inanis, Headmaster Dumbledore is calling for you to his office." A shy kid stuttered out, probably a first year. Raven smiled at him, he was trying to be nicer, it was a work in progress as the kid ran off.
"Too much teeth perhaps?" He asked himself, but shrugged, then blinked as he felt Rose cling to him and side, oh well.
With casual ease, he threw her over his shoulder and started walking.
"I can walk on my own!" She pouted, though she didn't struggle to escape the grip.
"I don't walk places." Raven laughed as they arrived in the grand staircase, the place where the third most injuries happen at Hogwarts.
"Huh?" Rose asked confused and Raven grinned before he started hopping from one staircase to another, thankfully no one was here as they were all busy with classes, Rose had done everything before everyone else as she didn't want to be near a bunch of people. The Hogwarts staff were very understanding.
Hagrid almost committed murder, once he returned from Azkaban, but Lockhart was already in the ministry for a trial when he found out. Raven would have joined him in committing murder.
"Fast." Rose mumbled as she was set down.
"Not that fast." Raven smiled as he strutted forward. Rose have to walk fast to keep up. Soon though they reached the entrance to Albus' office.
Speaking of, said Headmaster had been fired for his "incompetence" in catching the suspect behind everything.
The board was stupid. Ah yes, kick out the person probably keeping the suspect from doing whatever they want without fear, smart move, smart move for a moron!
"Lemon Drop." Raven said as the Gargoyle statue moved over and the duo entered the office.
The minute they did and sat down in front of Albus' desk, Fawkes flew down and landed on Raven's shoulder and began preening Rose's hair gently. Raven let out a snort as the girl tried to stop the Phoenix from doing that.
"Well I see Fawkes is happy to see you both." Albus said with a chuckle before he held out a piece of paper and Raven smirked when he saw what it was.
NEWT results.
Raven opened it and grinned as he started reading the results. He skipped all the useless chatter written. He didn't care for it.

11 O+++ and 1++++, Raven let a small cackle escape his lips, he knew he could and would break all those records. Let's see someone break that.
"Well done Mr. Inanis, however as the year comes to its end, I wonder, what do you intend to do now. Your time as a student at Hogwarts comes to a end. Explore the world? Work at the clocktower full time? Study ancient magics?" Albus asked curiously and Raven could feel Rose feeeze up as she gripped his hand extremely tightly.
He should probably work on this separation anxiety with her soon.
"I've not given it too much thought, but there is something I do want, my masters degree in runes, transfiguration, charms and defense." Raven said as he stared at Albus who chuckled.
"I understand. Hogwarts is always willing to offer the help of its teachers to help a scholar looking to further their educational path. I'll let Professor's Flitwick, McGonagall, Babbling and our future defense professor know." Albus said amusement lacing his time, and Raven sighed as Rose lightened her grip on his hand.
"Thank you." Raven said with a small smile, purposely avoiding showing off his teeth. He's working on nicer smiles, it'll take time.
"Of course, it's a teachers foremost desire to help their students anyway they can." Albus said happily and Raven smirked as he nodded his head, that was definitely true. For true teachers at least.
"Sweet. Now however, I supposed I need to plan for the future, I have no idea what I want to do. I thought about teaching, and while it does appeal to me, I think I'd prefer teaching a smaller group of apprentices. Like this flamehead here." Raven teased Rose who glared at him before she stopped and looked to the ground.
He sighed and flicked her ear. He'd fix that new confidence issue soon enough too.
Albus only smiled at the interaction, Rose was in good hands.
"I see, well I'm sure we can figure out something for you before you leave us Raven, for now though, perhaps I'd suggest heading out for lunch before the rush happens and you two are stuck pushing through crowds." Albus said cheerfully as he offered them lemon drops and was denied.
"I know it makes you scared and nervous, but you do know you will have to seperate from me soon right?" Raven asked curiously to Rose who only tightened her grip.
He sighed and decided he had to do this the hard way.
"You want to stick close to me right?" Raven asked and she slowly nodded her head.
"Ok then, let's play a game, if you want to stay close to me, come catch me." He grinned and escaped her tight grip on his hand and dashed off with a laugh as Rose followed after him, a small smile on her face.
Both forgot about lunch and eventually ended up eating extra at dinner.

A couple days later, it was the final dinner of this year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Raven sat across from Rose at the Ravenclaw table with a grin as he wagged his finger at her with amusement. Everyone watching felt some form amusement and gratefulness.
Amusement as Rose Potter, The Girl Who Lived, was glaring at Raven Inanis, The Scary One, as he waved his finger.
Everyone could tell that Raven Inanis seemed much more chill then he was the entire year. Much less angry and hateful. They didn't know how or why, but they were happy to have the prankster back to his normal self.
"Now if I could have your attention up here please!" Albus Dumbledore said as he stood up and moved to be behind his podium.
The hall soon went silent, bar the occasional crunchy noise of someone biting their food.
"Thank you, now I would like to start off with a happy note. Everyone who was in the hospital wing, we are all glad to see you returned to normal." Albus said as everyone seemed to look at those who had been petrified in the year.
"Now second, I know exams were canceled, besides our dear students who were taking their O.W.L.S and N.E.W.T's this year. I won't spoil results, but I'm happy to say, none of you got below an A! Congratulations!" Albus said as the great hall broke into applause.
"Third, it is with happiness I wish to give a toast to our seventh years, you are leaving us after seven long years of studying at our fine institution, just remember, help will always be given at Hogwarts if you simply ask. Now cheers to finish off the night!" Albus said as he raised his glass into the air as everyone did the same and clinked them with the people beside them.
Raven clinked his glass with Rose as he absentmindedly went to pull out a book to read, but Rose stomped on his foot and he raised an amused eyebrow before he flicked a piece of food at her.

Raven hummed a curious tune as he sat inside the Hogwarts express. Rose had decided to sit with Granger, at Raven's insistence.
Raven just sat there humming that tune for a good fifteen minutes before the twins slinked their way into the seating area and stared back at him.
"What'd you call us for mate?" "Yeah, Michael was gonna show us how he trained his tarantula to do tricks." "He said it could do a backflip."
"To apologize." Raven said with a deep sigh. The twins joking looks melted away into concern and confusion.
"Apologize about what?" They asked and he sighed as he took a deep breath.
"I was having issues, and I decided taking it out on everyone was ok. Rose, Albus, Minerva, Lorelei, and most importantly you two. It wasn't ok, but I did it. I've been a terrible friend. Hell, I was content with just letting what was happening at Hogwarts go on. To let the basilisk do as it pleased. To petrify anyone it so pleased." Raven said softly as he looked the twins in the eyes.
"I didn't care, I knew about it since the second or third person was attacked, but I did not care. I was content to sit by and watch it happen. It only became personal when it interfered in what I cared about. I'm not a good person, and I want to try and be better, but I think I'm a lot of work from that." Raven wasn't just speaking to the twins, but himself, he had to remind himself that he should be better then this.
"Mate… we forgive you." The twins said and Raven stared up at them wide eye as he looked away afraid a tear might slip out, if he still had any.
"It means a lot to me." Raven said as the twins laughed.
"It'd all water under the bridge mate. Just don't get upset when we eventually kick your butt, we've gotten a ton stronger and figured out a new technique." They grinned at Raven who let a cackle out, but it didn't have its usual menacing sound to it.
"So did I, got something out of it all." Raven let a bit of dawn energy run between his hands before it disappeared. "Plus you two are behind me. I've already done my N.E.W.T's. I'm a certified graduate. Next year it'll be Mr. Inanis to you two." He grinned at them as they made a face of mock horror.
"No way! We'll report you to the board for tyrant behavior!" They pointed forward and Raven laughed as he slapped their fingers away, gently, and cast a spell that made their fingers act like snakes.
"Oh no!" The twins gasped dramatically before all three laughed.
Izzy the cat smiled as she watched the scene.
(Holy fuck I actually forgot about Izzy lmfao, guess I gotta write this in somehow…)

Raven hummed as he sat on the side of the clocktower under an invisibility spell while swinging his legs.
He had spent the first weak of his summer vacation just sitting around and doing nothing, he was bored already, he only kept up his training, but besides that, it just didn't do anything for him.
He was bored and he wasn't to make that someone else's problem.
"I guess I'll go find Shirou!" He decided happily before he let himself free fall from the edge and used his gravity manipulation to slow his descent half way through and gently land on the ground before making his way to the main entrance.
There was three places he'd typically find Shirou.
1) Kitchen.
2) Training fields.
3) Dorms.
•~~~~•
Raven pouted as he found out Shirou went out to hunt dead apostles.
"You are Shirou's friend no?" A young voice asked and Raven titled his head and saw it was Shirou's girlfriends bodyguard, Saber, he thinks.
"Yes, Raven Inanis, and you are, Saber right?" Raven asked and she nodded with a small smile.
"Yes. Were you looking for Shirou?" Saber asked and Raven nodded his head as he idly poked at his lunch, it just lacked that oomf that it had when Shirou was in the kitchen.
Who needs a wife in the kitchen when you can have a Shirou?
"Yes, I was bored and thought I could spar with him. I'm trying to take it easy this summer, and not spontaneously deciding to go hunt dead apostles and other such creatures is taking it easy apparently." Raven pouted and Saber smiled.
"I wouldn't mind sparing with you if it's just a normal spar." She said and Raven looked at her closely, taking note of her posture, stance and etiquette even when sitting.
The feeling he had from her was an unfamiliar, though from what his eyes could gleam she had a human origin, but there was something different about it. Inhuman, unnatural, but also natural.
'How vexing.' Raven mused before he agreed, both silently ate this lunch before moving to an empty sparing area.
Saber grabbed a wooden sword and he did the same. He loosely mimicked her own form, it seemed better then his own form.
Saber frowned momentarily before she moved forward to attack and Raven copied her, each attack parried, dodged or blocked.
"You're technique is very familiar." Saber said and he smiled at her, his eyes gleaming in amusement and concentration.
"You know what they say, imitation is the best form of flattery." He stepped back and away from a slash and aimed a faint using a kick and went for a stab.
She blocked him by moving a little faster then their current set pace.
"Perhaps, but imitation can only go so far." Saber said as she increased her speed again and went to land a hard blow to his side, but he also increased his speed and blocked, however in that moment both the wooden swords clashed and then broke into a multitude of pieces and splinters.
"Oops." Raven said as he laughed slightly amused at what happened. "Perhaps I went just a little far, apologizes Saber." He added on as an after thought.
"No, it is my fault. Though I feel Rin will be slightly displeased at me having broken another set." Saber admitted and the kicked puppy look on her face had him wanting to help her.
(Artoria truly controls the Le Fay's with cuteness and adorableness)
"Then let me apolgize in this form." He said as he waved his hand and forced the pieces to rise off the ground with his gravity manipulation before using a reparo to mend the wooden swords back together.
"Your assistance is much appreciated Mr. Inanis." Saber said and Raven smiled. She was cute.
"It's no problem Saber, and please, call me Raven. Now would you be willing to spar with me again?" He asked and she smiled as she took a stance again. He mimicked it.
They went seventeen rounds before Rin found them and had to break it up as it was getting late.

Sirius Orion Black slipped through the bars of his cell as Padfoot, he only had one goal in mind.
Save his goddaughter, and to do that, he would kill the rat!
Sirius blocked all the senses of the freezing cold water as he swam through the harsh ocean without care for the pain, he would protect his goddaughter, no matter the cost.
He would not let harm come to Rose!
Azkaban would not find out his escape for three days when a guard made his rounds and found the cell empty, all that was there was a single newspaper of the image of Rose Potter standing in a courtroom and Lockhart screaming. However in a smaller image below was a picture of the Weasley family for having won a thousand galleons.
Dementers were soon to be sent to guard Hogwarts once it started up again, and guards were assigned to Rose Potter on the ministers order.
Raven did not find that pleasing when he came to kidnap Rose for dodge training. The guards were slacking. He had taken her for training and brought her back several hours later and they didn't even notice. He turned all their hair pink for a week, plus a curse to not feel any sexual pleasure for six months.

An so the year ends. It was a nice short 13 chapters, I'm not to sure about it, but the next year will probably be the second longest one, if not the longest due to the fact I actually like playing around with Sirius' character. Plus some real interesting stuff is going to be happening next year, and it'll all start off in the beginning of the year too, some big reveals and the like.
Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed the chapter, the next year won't happen for a little while for a couple reasons.
1) I have to fully plan it out. That takes some times, plus little bits of rereading the story to make sure things flow properly, plus I think I wanna slowly go through it all and do some minor fixes, not sure on that part yet.
2) I'm going to repost the old version of this story with a single updated chapter that will play into the rewrite so I can at least get some used out of it for this story.
3) I want to focus for a little bit on my Pokemon story and get some chapters down on it, I really like how it's going and so I focused on finishing this year so I could focus on that story for a while.
That's all, ima be going now, I may not work tomorrow(today), but I got a ton of shit I gotta do, and well it's always boring and sucky to be an adult who has to do adult things. I mostly miss being a kid.
Though it does have it's advantages as being an adult, I can drink and play sea of thieves with the boys like a bunch of drunk saliors. Bring me that booty!
I'll stop ranting on now, till next time my dear readers!

P.S. Love everyone of you all!
