Rasa knew that he couldn't let things go on like this, if he continued the stalemate, these bastards in the council would surely make him give up the Kage position.
He had two options in front of him, the first one was the easiest but at the same time had dire consequences.
The first solution was very simple at the same time direct. He only needed to get rid of those who stood in his way, this was the same approach he took against Pakura but it backfired.
Killing all the council members who were against him was easier said than done, as it would result in causing a civil war in Sunagakure. And Rasa didn't know how many people would support him in this endeavour.
So he directly cancelled that option as a solution to his current predicament.
The second one was harder and much more complicated. Right now the only reason these council members were jumping around was because he didn't have enough prestige.
He knew the reason he was able to succeed the Third Kazekage was because he had the support of Chiyo and Ebisu. His strength and his ability to mine gold were also a major factor.
Due to the nature of his succession, he lacked a lot of prestige. This matter was always a thorn in his side. He hated it when others undermined his authority, he hated those council members who constantly jumped around in front of him trying to undermine him, the Kazekage of Suna.
Rasa was a very petty individual who took offence to the smallest things, as these matters were more than enough to bruise his fragile ego.
He had a very high self-esteem which led to him having a superiority complex.
Rasa believed it was all Suna's fault and their Shinobi that they lost so many wars. If only he had a bit better soldiers then he could sweep Konoha under the rug.
Rasa genuinely believed he was a very strong Kage-level shinobi and even Sarutobi Hiruzen would have to be cautious while fighting him.
Thus Rasa was determined to attack Konoha the strongest Shinobi village to earn some well-needed prestige.
Rasa knew it might be hard and a lot of sacrifices would be made but he felt it was worth it if they could defeat Konoha.
His position would be solidified and he would be remembered as the Greatest Kazekage ever.
After defeating Konoha, Rasa would lead Sunagakure to conquer the elemental nations and establish the supremacy of Sunagakure.
Rasa was sure of one thing, even if their Sungakure had a low number of shinobi compared to Konoha and Kumo, each one of their Suna shinobi was elite.
If Itsuki knew what Rasa was thinking then he would advise him that, being delusional was good and all but your delusions should be limited to your dreams while sleeping.

Temari had an uncomfortable expression on her face while thinking about her sister.
Temari maybe 3 years old but she is very mature for her age, she recently found out why she was not allowed to see her sister.
It was because her sister was a Jinchuriki and was a very precious asset to the village. She understood that her little sister held the One-Tailed beast Shukaku inside her and was the container for it.
Recently her sister went missing and her father was very stressed about this matter, she may not entirely understand many things but being the princess of the Sand village she understood that Airi was very important to the village.

Temari was also feeling troubled because she knew exactly where her sister was. She wanted to tell her uncle or her father that her sister was in Konoha.
But whenever she thought about it, she would forget about the matter completely and she knew this must be a ploy from that evil man from Konoha.
To think that she thought of him as a kind uncle, she felt guilty that she spent time with Sunagakure's greatest enemy and the person who harmed them.
Temari was a person who grew up in Sunagkure and loved her village dearly, she grew up watching the hardships of her fellow villagers.
And she also hated Konoha for their predicament, Konoha was the reason they were in this situation.
Her father told her that the abominable Konoha was stealing their mission commissions.
It was Konoha's fault that they were experiencing poverty as the Daimyo of the Land of Wind was giving his missions over to Konoha's shinobi instead of their Sunagakure.
She gritted her teeth in hatred each time she thought of that matter, it was one thing for Konoha to be selfish and hold on to their fertile lands. They don't even help out their allies that was Sunagakure.
As an ally of Sunagakure isn't it expected of Konoha to help Suna? Temari didn't want them to do anything excessive just a few fertile fields for them to grow enough rice to feed their population and a waterbody for them to give clean water to their population.
Land of Fire had so many fertile regions, so it wouldn't be too much if Konoha helped them right?....
