Amanda Smith heard Donald Johnson's voice and looked up at her, not knowing what was going on, but she always felt that Donald Johnson's expression seemed a bit tense.
"There's nothing..." Amanda shook her head, then as if something occurred to her, suddenly asked, "Do you know who Samuel has been with recently?"
Donald Johnson's heart skipped a beat, and he glanced at Amanda instinctively, feeling a bit guilty.
He suspected that Amanda knew something.
The thought made his usually steady heart thump wildly.
While his heart raced, he couldn't help but curse that damn kid internally. If it hadn't been for the trouble Samuel Johnson stirred up before his wedding, he wouldn't have to cover up for him. If Amanda ever found out, she would probably resent him.
