Lucas Walker took the gift with both hands, "Thank you, mom."
He had heard some of the Chinese customs from Ivana; although he certainly wasn't short on money, this was a thoughtful gesture from Logan Bennett and his wife, and he naturally wouldn't refuse.
Summer Gardner raised the corners of her lips and stepped forward to give him a hug, and finally didn't forget to give Ivana Bennett a stern look, "Ivana, we agreed—no bullying Lucas, or else you'll have me to answer to."
"How could I dare? He's your beloved son, and I'm your daughter-in-law," Ivana Bennett said.
At those words, everyone burst into laughter.
Logan Bennett gave Ivana a look, "Ivana, since Lucas has changed his way of addressing us, what are you waiting for?"
Ivana Bennett walked up to the old king and the grand duchess with a sweet smile and exclaimed.
"Grandpa, mom!"
