Red Demon and Sun Demon began walking towards the agreed upon. Rendezvous point when they were hit with a massive blast and invisible force. A loud boom shook their ears and the buildings with remaining windows shattered. Red Demon grabbed Sun Demon and hugged her to the ground. Their ears were ringing and their vision blurred. Red Demon was the first to sit up and could see a black halo in the sky. Sun Demon sat up next to him staring at the sky. "What was that?" Red Demon gestured for her to follow. They climbed up buildings and jumped to the roof. They looked to see what direction the blast came from. "The Arena…" Red Demon then started laughing. "I owe someone some money. If they're alive of course" Sun Demon stared at him with confusion. "Who are you talking about?" Red Demon chuckled. "Last Hunter in the city took care of the arena for us, but he did it too soon. But I'll give it to him. He took the chance anyway and succeeded. We need to go find him" Red Demon and Sun Demon started to run across rooftops towards the arena.

The Hunter staggered as he fell into a wall. He spit blood down and slumped to his rear. He had a piece of metal sticking into his gut. His hat fell over his eyes. He took it off and set it to the side. "Well shit…I didn't think he put such a short timer on that. Crazy son of a bitch" he pulled out a cigarette and lit it with his finger. He felt a presence coming close to him. He pulled a pistol out and waited clenching the smoke between his teeth. Through the dust came Ghost Demon he held up hands. "So you're the helpful Hunter Red talked about?" Hunter lowered his gun and chuckled. "Yeah well…if you're talking about the man with the demon mask like yourself. Then yes" Ghost Demon approached slowly still keeping his hands out. "Shall I dress that?" he was staring at the wound and jagged metal sticking from his gut. From behind they heard heavy footsteps coming towards them. From the dust came Smiling Demon who then looked surprised to see Ghost Demon and the wounded man sitting on the ground.
"Who's this?" Smiling asked, pointing to the injured man. "The guy hired by Red," Smiling nodded. "Would you like some help?" Ghost nodded. "I just asked the same thing. Why don't you keep a look out and I'll give him some aide" he knelt down and pulled out a bag with potions and alchemical tools for medicine. "Hey dick. I don't work for you and you're not senior to this group. So how about laying off the orders?" Ghost Demon was silent. "And yet you're still keeping watch like I asked?" he then looked at the Hunter. "This is going to hurt," the Hunter nodded. And with a hard jerk the metal was out. He then placed a rag upon the wound applying pressure. He then pulled out a potion and began pouring it on the rag. His wound then started to burn as he groaned in pain. Then it went numb. Ghost Demon removed the rag and the wound was cauterized from the potion.
He then pulled out a clean rag and folded it into a square and began wrapping around it going behind his waist back to his stomach. He tied it off tight enough to stay, but not enough to cut off circulation. "Thanks" he took another drag of his cigarette as Ghost Demon packed up the bag. "Should heal, but just keep it clean. Keep it covered with clean wrappings" the Hunter chuckled. "Not my first time kid" Smiling was staring at the absent arena as the dust started to disperse. It was left with a very large wide circle that extended out. "What did you use to destroy this place?" Smiling asked. "An experimental bomb my master made. It was the Black Hole Bomb used for infestation of Mythical Beasts that are a nuisance to the environment and wildlife. He only made one and it was an experimental device. I wasn't fast enough to avoid any damage from it as you can see" from the street they saw a giant shadow of a beast and then two more following the first. With a breeze they were shown to be the wolf from before, behind him was a big red ape, and an armadillo looking creature with spikes on its shell back.
Smiling and Ghost went for their weapons before the Hunter shouted, "STOP!" he told them. They hesitated hearing him yell as he slowly got to his feet. He limped over to the injured wolf and his companions. "Glad you made it out" he told the wolf who nodded at him and licked his face in gratitude. "You humans are a good one. I appreciate you letting us free" the wolf stated. This threw the other two for a loop, never seeing a Mythical Beast talk before. "You must be at a celestial level to speak?" Ghost said, approaching the wolf. "I wish to be free of this city. Will you help us?" the wolf asked. The Hunter nodded, "I will escort you out myself after I get paid from their friend. I will even join you on your journey" the Hunter flicked the cigarette. "Where is your boss anyway?" the Hunter asked the two demons. "He's not our boss!" they said in unison. The Hunter chuckled "Regardless I want my money and to leave this accursed place" from behind them came Red and Sun Demon who jumped from a rooftop to the street below. Red Demon manifested a bag of coins and threw it at the Hunter who caught it with ease. "You were worth the money," Red Demon told him. "We're going to the gate with them. We need to close it down. The King could be heading back and if we rile up the people to fight we can keep this city from his grasp" that's when Ghost Demon perked up. "Two brigades didn't fight or attack the people. I am allied with one, and perhaps I could sway the other" he then turned and left. "Alright, we're going with them to secure the gate," Red Demon ordered.

Outside the Dread City in the vast desert was a large army moving through. Leading them was the War King; he was covered in dirt and blood. He sat in a motor vehicle with no roof to it. His clothes looked warned and burnt in some places. He stared at the ground in contemplation as they made their way to the city. Behind the army were mech giants stolen from the Tech Realm and were four in total. Under their giant feet were tanks, and other vehicles. The War King sighed as he stared up at the pink sun above. "How much longer till we reach the city?" he asked his driver. "Twenty-four hours my liege" he scoffed at this answer. The latest incursion left a bitter taste in his mouth and he lost an ally neighboring the city five miles from his own. But being pushed deeper into the desert by the Chivalry Knights delayed his assistance. He was too late and fought two fronts to survive. For the first time he had to retreat and not in his hundred years of rule did he ever do such a thing.
'When I get back my cultivation time will increase and the arena will be soaked in blood' he thought leaning back in his seat.
