Alisha appreciated Daniel's dedication during her absence and said, "Thank you for your hard work and dedication. I'll take it from here."
Daniel nodded, glanced at her, and silently left the room. A text message notification interrupted her train of thought, and Alisha picked up her phone to check it. The message was from Maddie, and it read that she would see Alisha after work. A warm smile crept across Alisha's face as she put her phone back down.
