Despite covering for the chancellors, Cedric wasn't swamped with work. It did increase, yes, but nothing that he can't handle. Obviously, he wasn't the one who would handle their racial responsibilities given their status, so that made it easier for him as well.
Cedric obviously paid more attention to their states compared to others who were also breaking through. The bias was well understandable given the identities of these people. He had to ensure that they'd live because even with his current authority, the weight of their death wouldn't be a light sentence to him.
Fortunately, from his observations so far, everything was going well.
The Chancellors have already transformed their cultivation to enter the Void Refinement Realm. It made them weaker, yes, but it's of no concern to them since they aren't in the middle of a war and they have time.
