The speech ended, and the line of people moved towards the hotel for the gathering. Kiara's mother and Arlong were at two extremes.
Kiara's mother was one whose spirit soared with joy, looking buoyant and clearly in a good mood, while Arlong was uncharacteristically silent and sullen. Kiara, seeing him like this, felt her brother's problem must be quite serious. As the gathering came to an end, she was considering using the pretense of having tea at home to get her brother to talk, but to her surprise, Robert Johnson spoke first.
"Kiara, I've just got some fine tea. How about you and Edward Wheeler come over to our place?"
Robert was a man who spoke and acted with great precision; he never uttered a word in vain. Kiara knew at once that there was something up, exchanged a glance with Camden, and Mario Yuno nodded.
"Perfect, I've been craving tea lately."
"I'm going to the company," Arlong said listlessly.
