"Since you remember my birthday, have you figured out what gift to give me tomorrow?"
Arabella Vanderbilt slightly tucked her chin and spoke softly:
"Of course I have your birthday gift, but if I say it now, what will you have to look forward to tomorrow?"
Joel Russo chuckled softly, "Hmm... You have a point. I won't ask anymore. I'll just look forward to what surprise you have for me tomorrow."
Arabella Vanderbilt's face changed slightly, somewhat conflicted, "Don't hold too high of a hope just in case you end up disappointed, and we both feel awkward."
"Hmm?" Joel Russo raised an eyebrow, "We'll talk about it then."
Arabella Vanderbilt furrowed her brows, her nose crinkling along, "Isn't this the time when you're supposed to say, 'as long as it's from you, I will like it,' or something like that? Why do you always go off-script?"
Upon hearing this, Joel Russo paused for a moment, then chuckled lightly.
