"Hmm, you could say I'm taking responsibility, or perhaps, the heart needs its own medicine, and I am yours," Kevin Cliff said with a smile as he reached out and pulled her back.

"Get away! I'm afraid that after I'm cured, I might contract another disease!" Charlotte Green pushed him away again.
"That would be perfect. I'll be your heart medicine for a lifetime!" Kevin Cliff easily pulled her back once more.
"You..." Charlotte was lost for words, infuriated.
Was this still the same Kevin Cliff who spoke so coldly and sparingly? He was simply a scoundrel!
"Go get the beach blanket that I left behind when I was chasing after you," Kevin Cliff said softly.
Charlotte frowned, "Why should I be the one to go?"
"Because I want to watch the sunrise. If you're not watching, then you should go," Kevin Cliff said matter-of-factly, glancing at her with a mischievous smile, "Or do you want to watch it too?"
