Watching the time already past eight o'clock, logically speaking, even in winter, it should have been daylight by now. Yet, looking outside through the window, it's still pitch-dark. It seems something might have occurred outside.
Father Dong and Mother Dong, seeing Dong Tianyu had gotten up and hearing their son's inquiry, moved away from the window and then said to Dong Tianyu, "It's raining outside now. The rain doesn't seem too heavy, but perhaps the dark clouds completely block out the sunlight, and there might be an even heavier downpour later."

While the raindrops wouldn't directly destroy or harm Dong Tianyu's projected Divine Sense, the rainwater did possess the ability to obstruct and interfere with it.
