Chapter 1 - Rito!

"Rito! It is morning." When Yuki Rito finally opened his tired eyes and realized that his world was more like a manga in another world, a voice rang out from inside the silent room.

A small tear trickled from them for no apparent reason, but a newly discovered fire burned inside of him.

"Rito!" When Mikan entered the room, she was alarmed to see Rito sobbing while lying on the bed. Rito turned to face Mikan and smiled as he saw her worried expression.

"You're alright, Rito!" When she touched his head to check his temperature next to his bed and discovered that it was high, she appeared extremely concerned.

"I am alright!" He was trying to speak when Mikan spoke in between with an angry tone.

"You had a fever, so why did you not try to call me or wake me up, stupid brother?" As if being lectured by her bigger sister, Yuki could only smile bitterly.

Looking at Mikan, who hurriedly left the room before quickly rising to her feet and scanning the space for anything she needed to clean up, she applied a cold compressor to his head.

'Hmm! It is clean, but this temperature is really high, I will have to take care of him today, so I might as well cancel today's class.'

As she touched her brother's cheeks while he had a slight smile on his face and watched him nod off, she made a mental note of it.

'You really are defenseless and idiotic! That is why your sister is having a hard time, you know?' As she sat down next to his bed, she pondered. She gave him a close look before she let out a sigh.

Next moment when Yuki woke up!

When the door opened and Mikan entered to take a look at him, he was already beginning to feel good, had a good appetite, and could feel a growl from his stomach that was signaling how hungry he was.

"Hmm! Looking good, do you have an appetite? Rito, I will prepare some rice podigere for you."

As she waited next to him for his response, Rito's stomach began to growl once more, giving her the information she needed and causing her to smile.

"It seems I am really hungry, Mikan." Rito chuckled at it and sat on the edge of the bed as he watched her leave again and return with a fine dish.

As he wolfed down the food like a predator, he became aware that he was beginning to regain his energy as well.

'This fast! It should not be this fast, or is this body really human, and if he is a human, then I am surely being helped by external things, which is beyond my imagination at least.'

Mikan was startled by the sudden serious expression on Yuki's face because she had never seen her brother look so serious.

"Something up! Brother!" Rito was roused from his slumber by her question, and as he smiled at her and pondered how to explain himself, the small talk that had been going on in the cramped room began.

'Eh!' He was stumped, but it did not surprise him that much. 'This is really great, but it did not have much consciousness.'

Rito realized that the other system did not have any AI or supporting units inside it and he could only access them through consciousness or touching the screen.

Rito attempted to speak to the machine first to see if it could respond, but soon realized that it lacked this property and could only access skill points that were currently useless.

"Rito! Good morning..." After visiting him to see how he was doing, Mikan started talking to him about her class and asked him if he needed anything to eat.

"I think I will be able to continue my class tomorrow." Rito felt a little excitement to return to school even though he was feeling good after a two-day break, as if the memories from the previous life were influencing him.

He was eager to start his day at school, but first he wanted to see how he could use his system.

However, up until this point, he had not been able to come up with any other uses for the system.
