As the dust settled, Hedin came out on top, and there wasn't a scar on him. Hedin said, "I see now. No wonder you two are members of Exist Forger. Yet, I can guess that isn't your full power."
Anew said, "That was all I had."
Hedin said, "It's still quite impressive."
Astrea said, "By the way, what kind of chanting was that?"
Hedin said, "It's called Mana Chanting. It's the purest form of chanting. It ensures your attacks are pure and that you're using the magic properly. That's why you need to know the language. Now, is that all you have?"
Astrea said, "I still have one more trick."
"Now, summon Holy Relic, Holy Sword Ascalon!"
As the broad sword landed on the ground, Astrea couldn't help but take a deep breath. Hedin looked and said, "Why are you hesitating to draw your own sword?"
Astrea said, "Here is my strongest sword."
He took his sword. "Now, Ascalon, Spin Magic, Infinite Slash!"
As Astrea charged with the spell, Hedin gripped his spear tighter, which was still imbued with lightning magic. As he clashed his spear with Astrea's weapon, it created a massive shockwave. The shockwave knocked Hedin back by one meter, but he was still able to stay on his feet.
Hedin said, "Impressive."
Just as Hedin said that, Astrea screamed, and he couldn't help but scream, "It burns!"
Hedin saw why Astrea was hesitating all along.
Hedin said, "Your training isn't done yet. Why the hell are you taking a break now?"
"Lightning Magic: Sanitatem Tonitrui!"
As Hedin struck, Anew said, "Why did you hit him?"
Hedin said, "Calm down."
Astrea stood up and said, "What just happened to my body? I can't feel any pain."
Hedin said, "It's just a painkiller and slow regeneration."
Hedin said, "Now you two, both of you attack me together with all your strength."
As the day went on, both Anew and Astrea fought with all their might, to no avail. When lunchtime hit, Hedin said, "Go get lunch. You two only have 15 minutes."
Within 15 minutes, Astrea ate 20 plates of food, most of which were chicken. Hedin always suggested chicken as it has the lowest calories while providing the highest amount of protein.
After lunch, Hedin said, "Now for your physical training. You will both fight me in hand-to-hand combat—no magic, no weapons."
After 5 hours of hand-to-hand combat with no weapons, Hedin said, "Now fight me, you two. But this time, you can use weapons, but no magic."
Hedin grabbed his spear. Astrea used a random broad sword, while Anew used gloves with finger blades.
Hedin looked at their weapons and said, "Good choices."
After another 5-hour fighting session, Hedin said, "Now, 15-minute dinner."
After dinner, Hedin gave a 1-hour lecture on knighthood, rules, codes, and equipment information.
Finally, Astrea and Anew went to bed, but they only got 1 hour and 30 minutes of sleep.
