The paragons' brows furrowed.
The question was valid. Despite everything, there would always be a few people, driven by either fear, anger, or ignorance, who might act recklessly.
But to the other paragons, its solution was simple. If riots occurred, they would be handled easily, apprehending the rioters and punishing them.
But none of them were prepared for the response that came next.
"Kill them," Atticus said, his words icy.
Every paragon turned to him, their eyes wide, and expressions filled with disbelief.
But Atticus didn't stop there.
"And make it public."
He looked at them all calmly and continued.
"I already showed them all they needed to know. So if they still decide to be stupid, we let them know they're not as important as they think."
Silence.
The paragons shifted uncomfortably. And of them, only Oberon responded.
"All right."
