I sighed. Hideyoshi could really say some weird things sometimes. Or maybe I just misunderstood what he meant by also being hungry. Nah, he was definitely talking about being breastfed. Honestly, he would probably eat dog food, too, if he came across it.
As I walked into my bedroom with Alabaster cradled in my arms, I couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. Hideyoshi and his antics never failed to amuse me. It was one of the things I loved about him—his ability to find humor in just about any situation, even if it sometimes left me shaking my head.
I sat down on the bed and adjusted my hold on him as I pulled up my shirt and undid my bra at the front. I had it designed to make feeding my son easier. With a gentle motion, I brought him close, feeling the familiar warmth and comfort as he nestled against me.
