I stared at the glyphs within the Tower of the Depths, the cool stone walls emanating a sense of ancient wisdom. The air was thick with the scent of aged parchment and the faint whisper of history clinging to the shadows. I was trying to learn more about the history of the clan, especially the main branch now that I had married into it.
The glyphs were intricately carved, each telling a story of triumphs, struggles, and the legacies of those who had come before me. As I traced my fingers over the symbols, I could feel a pulse of energy, as if the very essence of the clan's past resonated through the stone.
As I moved deeper into the chamber, one glyph caught my eye. It depicted a figure clad in armor, wings unfurled majestically behind her. A radiant light seemed to emanate from her, illuminating the surrounding glyphs. I squinted to read the inscription beneath it, my heart racing with curiosity.
"Fortuna, the Valkyrie of Luck," it read. My ancestor.
