I found myself seated in a bed, with little Nao in my arms.
My baby giggled as he kicked his little arms and legs.
I cooed at him. He was so cute! Thank the divine couple for this little adorable bun!
Although, where were we? I thought we were in Milo's place.
My eyes widened as I realized I was inside a hotel room. It wasn't just any hotel room, but the one where we had spent the night during our time in Raiyama.
A chill ran down my spine as I looked around the room. The luxurious curtains, the plush carpet, the elegant furniture... It was all too familiar. It was like a scene from the not so distant past, but still a memory that had been buried deep within me.
Nao gurgled happily, oblivious to my rising fear. I held him close, my heart pounding in my chest.
This was the place where our lives had been threatened, where we had been forced to flee. This place was a painful reminder of the danger that had once surrounded us.
This place, it had to be a nightmare.
