I grabbed Koyuki by the wrist. "We're retreating, Koyuki. I got a plan."
"But-"
"We can't win at this rate!"
"But, how are we going to do that? She has us surrounded." The sound of ice snapping and cracking echoed around us.
I smirked as she held up her bow. "Emiya, let's go!" I shot arrows of darkness mana outward, forming a wall of arrows between us and Mirei.
The woman chuckled as soon as her armor bounced them back to us.
Lt. Koyuki and I dodged them. The arrows punctured the ground, creating a thick cloud of dust around us.
"Now, Emiya!" Jiro yelled.
Koyuki gasped as a pink haired male angel in white robes appeared behind Mirei.
"Oh, you called forth your guardian angel. Didn't think a low ranked private could do such a feat."
"I didn't expect it either. Even I can't call upon mine," Koyuki said, awestruck.
"You called, Jiro?" my angel asked, smiling.
"Emiya, engage in close combat!"
He nodded, and gathered darkness mana into his fist.
