"What?!"
Luffy was shocked.
No—not just Luffy—the entire multiverse was stunned.
What just happened?!
Moments ago, everyone clearly saw Luffy defeat all the shadow clones. The original Naruto had finally been knocked to the ground.
Yet now—just a second later—Naruto was standing tall and unscathed?!
How was that possible?
Teleportation? Regeneration? Some kind of immortal technique?
"Kawarimi no Jutsu! That's how a ninja fights!"
Naruto pointed at Luffy with a confident grin.
"You lose!"
Luffy clenched his teeth. Even if you somehow survived, at best it should've been a counterattack—so why the hell was this guy acting so smug?!
Before Luffy could respond—
Boom!
An explosion rang out behind him. A faint blur—nearly invisible to the naked eye—shot toward him. A mini Rasenshuriken struck with pinpoint accuracy.
ROOOAAARR!!!
Already drained of strength and stamina, Luffy had no chance of resisting.
In an instant, he was hurled to the ground by a shockwave, his eyes wide in disbelief.
"WTF!!!"
Once again, the entire multiverse was left speechless.
That tiny energy orb... how could it pack such monstrous power?
And when did Naruto even launch it?
In the spectators' stands…
Beerus chuckled.
"I gotta say, this Naruto's battle IQ is seriously impressive."
"When he threw out that barrage of massive Rasenshuriken, I noticed something small—he quietly created a tiny one and snuck it in."
"He hid it among the huge ones and threw them all together. Not only did he trick Luffy, but it bought him time to use Kawarimi no Jutsu."
There was clear admiration in Beerus' voice.
"This kid... If he were in Universe 7, I bet he wouldn't lose to you Saiyans."
He paused, sighing.
"Too bad… the world of ninjas holds back his potential."
Many of the Gods of Destruction shared the same sentiment.
Unfortunately, Naruto didn't belong to the Dragon Ball world. After the battle, he would return to his own universe.
Meanwhile, in other worlds—
Katekyō Hitman Reborn Universe
"Reborn! Naruto is amazing!"
Sawada Tsunayoshi's eyes sparkled.
Reborn nodded, eyes serious.
"That level of energy control... even I can't fully grasp it."
Behind him, Gokudera shouted with pride:
"Boss! One day you'll become someone just like Uzumaki Naruto! I believe it!"
Tokusatsu Universe – Planet K76
Leo patted Zero on the shoulder.
"That fighting style… you could study it for a lifetime."
Zero scoffed.
"You expect me to learn from a human? He's still 20,000 years too early!"
Leo just shook his head.
Sigh… If only Zero was a bit more humble, he might've earned Ultraseven's recognition by now. With the crisis coming, I'm not sure this brat is ready…
Back in the Naruto Universe
Kushina hadn't wiped away her tears yet. But now, she smiled through them.
Salty drops slid down her face—both bitter and sweet.
"Naruto… even without your parents, you've grown so well."
"I'm truly grateful to the Third Hokage and everyone in Konoha. Minato and I didn't give our lives for nothing…"
Back in the arena, emotions turned.
The Straw Hats, who had just been cheering, now stood frozen—faces twisted with disbelief.
From heaven to hell—joy turned to sorrow in a blink.
Sanji's cigarette nearly burned his lips—he hadn't noticed.
He muttered, "How the hell did Naruto pull that off…?"
Chopper burst into tears.
"Luffy only looks like that when… when he's really lost…"
Zoro shouted at the screen, voice hoarse:
"Get up, Luffy! That's not the Luffy I know!"
Nami's eyes flashed with anger.
"And you… you used some dirty little ninja trick—!"
But before she could finish—
A new nightmare began.
On the battlefield—
"It's over. I don't think he can get up," Naruto said softly, joy and exhaustion mixing in his voice.
Kurama's voice rumbled in his mind:
"You know how strong his recovery is. Don't hesitate—finish it. Or you'll regret it."
"Huh?!" Naruto's eyes widened.
In the cruel world of ninjas, mercy was often fatal. But this wasn't a shinobi—did he really need to go that far?
"Stop! His eyes widened! Doesn't that mean he's still—!"
"What do you know?!" Kurama barked.
"He's moving again! You want your parents back, don't you?!"
"…Tch."
Naruto saw it too—Luffy's thumb twitched.
He clenched his fists.
"…I'm sorry. But I have to see them again."
"The Grand Priest said the contestants can be revived anyway!"
Resolving himself, Naruto activated Sage of Six Paths Kurama Mode.
A storm of chakra surged as he formed another Fūton: Chōōdama Rasenshuriken, swirling with immense power.
"Goodbye."
BOOOOOM!!!
A roaring hurricane engulfed Luffy.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
His scream echoed across the arena.
Thousands of chakra needles tore through every cell of his body.
The wind shrieked. The storm raged. The battlefield turned white with energy.
And then—silence.
As the dust settled, the magnetic field vanished.
Luffy collapsed, coughing up blood, his body broken and shredded.
One final breath. Then—nothing.
