The two walked in as they confidently took a seat at the table.
"Last night I came up with a perfect plan to not only be ahead of Coldstorm but also be able to find an effective way of kicking his ass!" Sam said as he leaned back in his chair, and everyone looked at him with confusion.
"Aren't you gonna tell us?" Micheal asked.
With an egotistical grin, Sam pushed up his glasses as he leaned up, firmly holding his head up by his hand.
"I'm glad you asked Micheal!" He said
Everyone rolled their eyes at his eagerness.
"The plan is easier said than done. We will split into groups of 2 and spend the first couple of months doing different things."
"Me, Charlotte, and Clockwork will focus on infiltrating Coldstorm's base of operations and finding out his bigger plans so that we can slow them down."
"Once we get the information out; Siren, John, and Micheal will act accordingly to stop the plan depending on how bad it is. The main plan is to simply make it where Coldstorm loses resources to do anything we can't control." He declares.
Everyone paused as they glanced at each other.
"The plan sounds good on paper, but how would you guys get into the tower? There are security cameras everywhere." Clockwork asked.
Sam paused for a moment as he put his hand on his beard, rubbing it firmly.
"No clue," He said in a joking tone.
Everyone groaned at the sound of that as Siren stood up.
"He could use Void magic to change his appearance like I can." Siren recommends.
Everyone paused, groaning as they glanced at Siren.
"Wait, you can do that?" Micheal asked.
Siren smirked confidently as Void leaped up from around him and it wiggled and twirled; the gushing sound was weirdly uncomfortable.
Suddenly the Void began to sink in as it coated his body, changing his appearance exactly into Micheal.
"Ta-Da! Siren yelled out as he got up close to Micheal's face.
Charlotte clapped her hands at the sight.
"You managed to get his ugliness right! John remarked as he leaned back in his chair, with Micheal silently glaring at the man.
"So, you want me to coat everyone? I don't think I can do that long enough for it to be effective." Sam replied.
Siren paused for a moment as he gave Sam a disappointed look.
"I thought you could've figured it out. I was implying that you should go on your own, and have Charlotte and Clockwork be support on the outside. I would be smarter to have me away from any sort of business involving this since he might be watching me due to my stunt from last month." Siren says as he changes back to his normal form.
Sam nodded his head at the idea
"What do you think Clockwork? This is your team after all." Sam says as he waves his hand in Clockwork's direction.
"I mean it sounds alright; I feel like we could still put Siren's group to work doing something to keep Coldstorm's focus away from us." Clockwork recommends.
"Oh, I know! There's a statue in Dad's old workplace that I wanted to check out again! I was planning on doing it later, but now might be the perfect distraction!" Siren slightly yells out.
"A statue? You don't mean that old statue, do you? I wouldn't recommend going anywhere near that. . . It's too risky for something as simple as a distraction. What if it attacks you? I don't think you could be on my level already at your age to hold it back." Sam says with annoying confidence.
"I don't know about that honey. . . "Charlotte said with weariness in her voice.
"What do you mean? He couldn't have gotten that strong in a couple of years to be on our level!" Sam replied.
"You haven't seen what I've seen from him Sam... Although with my new demon genetics, Siren using his regular set of skills was capable of nearly knocking me out in a short amount of time, and with that encounter from the robot that he fought a couple weeks ago. . . He might already be stronger than us." Charlotte states as she weirdly stares at Siren.
Everyone paused as they all turned towards the young man as he blushed shyfully at their praise.
"Oh stop, I'm not that strong. If you're looking for strong, look at John over there. He's the one with that weird particle stuff. I could feel his aura from the entrance to the elf district." Siren said.
"Hold on now Siren. I don't have a clue what that even was! For all I know it was just a one-time thing!" John said with doubt.
Siren sighed heavily as he leaned back in his chair.
"Fine then, how about this; For the next couple of days, let's see what we can learn about each other's abilities, I trust that everyone would want to freshen their skills up?" He recommended as he looked around for any objection, only to see none.
"Alright then, let's get to it! Dad, you're with me! I'm gonna show you what can do!" Siren said as everyone headed out.
"Yo Mike, you wanna go around with me? I haven't used magic in nearly a year and need a good dummy to practice with." Micheal confidently said.
John sighed as he cracked his back.
"Fine then. Don't come crying to me when this dummy kicks your ass!
