Perhaps it was the coincidence of sharing a three-character name that brought Yao Jie and Fang Yongxing the fate of becoming friends. It was said that when Yao Jie first joined Changda, as a woman in the workplace, she was at a disadvantage compared to her male counterparts and inevitably faced discrimination. Fang Yongxing, acting honorably, came to her rescue. Yao Jie had all these acts of kindness etched in her heart.
Normally, she seldom spoke. But, when it mattered, she would step forward, and this was, without doubt, a mark of a true friend.
Somehow aware of Gu Nuan's arrival, Yao Jie saw Gu Nuan's figure from a distance in the office area of the design department. She quietly came out from within, walking towards Gu Nuan.
Following that, Gu Nuan was pulled by Yao Jie into a small storage room used for filing in the design department.
Yao Jie said to her, "This place isn't safe enough, why don't you hide out at your team leader's for a while?"
