Were-beasts and beastfolk are human-beast hybrids. They all have their diets, but all have one thing they must eat as a species: meat. The stronger the meat that they eat. The stronger they are. Each type of Were-beasts and beastfolk has its strengths and weaknesses. Beastfolk are weaker compared to Were-beasts. If Vampires have the common types and the stronger, uncommon type aristocrats who are like the nobles of Vampire society.
Progenitors were the first vampires and were like gods to other vampires. Were-Beasts are on the same level as Progenitors since they are the birth/start of the beastfolk race. Were-beasts are stronger than beastfolk in every way.
Tama says, "Your blood is simply delicious. It might even be my new favorite treat."
She grabs Moon's cheek, and the beastly dog claw forms from her hands.
Tama says, "Your blood gives me so much power."
Moon prepares to move his arms back to push Tama off him.
Tama grabs his shoulder and says, "I wouldn't try and do that."
He thinks, "After she licked my blood, she seems to have changed her way of speaking."
Astro says, "She is an anomaly. Normally, Were-beast and beastfolk become denser as they drink blood and go into a trance-like, instinct-like state til their power stabilizes."
Astro thinks, "Is she becoming more intelligent since she was already a dunce even by human standards? Is Tama a Were-beast or beastfolk? Judging by her power and doglike traits. I would say beastfolk. But she is the first beast in this reawakened world, so she has to be a were-beast. Annoying, annoying, this is so annoying. The human world is nothing like it used to be.
I thought working and dealing with this human named Moon was already a hassle to deal with. He is rude, vulgar, and has demon blood in him on top of all that. Is this human born with bad luck? Whatever the case, I will have to step in if she is a Were-beast. He is such a hassle."
Moon thinks, "Tama is strong. Real strong. I don't think I can deal with this alone."
Moon hears a voice say, "What can't you deal with alone, so you think it would be easier to have Astro deal with her for you. How far have you fallen? Ever since these otherworldly beings started getting involved and people started gaining powers, you have become so weak. You become so boring. You have become a pussy."
Moon thinks, "Hell no! I haven't become soft. I am not weak. I am strong."
The voice says, "Is that so? Why is that you seem so tame then? Tama was her name. She is the were-dog, so why does it seem you are the dog? You used to be so fierce."
He thinks, "I am not tame. I am not a fucking dog. I am from the slums. I watched so many people die daily. I stole from everyone to survive that hell. Hikari is the only reason I left that hell. I will kill anyone who gets in my way!"
The voice laughs, then says, "You... You will kill anyone who gets in your way. What a joke. Maybe the old you, but not now. Hikari is not the reason you left that place. I know it! You know it! I hate you. I hate me."
Moon thinks, "You hate yourself. What the hell does that have to do with me? And what do you know about me? You know nothing! I am me! I have not changed. I am strong."
The voice says, "You know nothing. You know who I am."
Moon thinks, "What do you mean? Are you Dev?"
The voice laughs and says, "You think I am that demon, what a joke. I am you. Your deepest, darkest fears. I am your subconscious."
He thinks "my subconscious..."
The voice says, "Aww, you're finally thinking. This is great. But try not to get distracted by me, since you have to fight with that dog."
Tama moves her claws from his cheek, and it is on his neck now.
Astro says, "Move your claw from his neck. Now!"
Tama licks more blood from his cheek and says, "No, why would I, Tama, move my hand from his neck when you are the one threatening me here. I might even kill him."
Moon says, "Kill me, huh?"
Tama pokes his throat, and it starts bleeding.
Moon's body starts to surge with an electrical discharge.
Tama reacts in time, jumps back from Moon, and lands on all fours.
"I will not be played with." He said
Moon says to Astro, "I don't need your help. I can fight my own battles."
He turns to Tama and says "I don't give a shit why you are here but now is your last chance to leave before I kill you."
Tama stands up straight, finally healed from Moon's punches. She says, "I don't want to fail her. I will kill you if I have to, then take your corpse with me if I have to."
Astro thinks, "So she is working for someone, but the only name she mentioned was Aku no. The easiest answer would be him, but she could be working for an unrelated party. What a blight this is."
"Lucy, can you watch the other one for?" Tama said
Lucy appears, floating above them. Her angel wings flapping.
Astro looks up at the sky and sees an angel with long blonde hair and light blue eyes. The angel is wearing a thin cloth to cover her body.
Astro thinks, "I didn't sense her at all. How is a being like an angel able to be in this world? The world cracks are not enough yet. We still have a little over a year left. This doesn't make any sense at all. Angels are too powerful of a being to be able to come over yet. Even with a contract, it would be too much. I had to force some of my existence onto Moon just to be here. Just that left me in a weakened state. As it is now, I can use up to three percent of my power til this world opens up more."
Moon thinks, "More people are showing up. I don't want to use my electric powers since I don't have the best control over it and I don't have much output. I might even run out of energy before this fight ends."
He whispers "Damn it!"
Lucy says, "I don't want to."
She flies over to Moon and gets close to his face and says, "I am more interested in him. Plus, he is so cute. He is just my type."
Moon, with a confused look, says, "Huh?"
Astro says, "Besides your sister, someone else likes you. How lucky of you? It's an angel at that."
He responds, "Shut it!"
Tama says, "We must not fail the mission."
Lucy says, "Why should I care much? This mission is for your mother and for you. I get nothing out of this."
She flies over to Tama and says, "The only reason your mother is doing this is for her own desires and to cure your retardness. I am only here because I owe Jophiel a favor. Other than that, I have no reason to care what you people do."
Astro mumbles, "Jophiel... Jophiel... Jophiel. He is one of his servants. He is one step away from being an archangel. How is he here? He would need five to ten years before he could appear here."
Moon looks at Astro and sees her sweating buckets. A face of concern and worry is on her face.
Astro shouts, "Moon, we must leave now! I don't care about your stupid little fight! If he finds out about any of this. We are done for!"
Moon says, "You being worried is a first. So you, a god, are telling me you are afraid of some angel."
Astro says, "Stop it now and come over to me!"
"Astro, why are you trying to run away? After all, I haven't seen you since you were a child. Or should I call you Princess Astro, daughter of the Almighty great one?" Jophiel said.
