He was a weakling to the aborigine locals, but he got his ego-boost from them, and he definitely maximized that.
Ironically, when they awakened and nearly caught up with his strength-level, the bullying got even worse. As slaves, they could only lay down and get beat up while he enjoyed feeling power over elementalists.
He was also among those who laughed at his face as he told him about how he'd be massacring brethren soon.
"Sheild me! Shield me!" he yelled, pointing at the civilians a few meters away from them, sending a barrage of attacks. "EVERYONE! SHIELD MEE!"
