Third person POV
And then, 3 weeks after the successful mission and end-of-the-semester exams, one Saturday morning, Kichi and Haru were walking to a cemetery in downtown Yokohama carrying two bouquets of flowers. Haru's are red roses and black roses, while Kichi's are sunflowers and white sampaguitas. Beforehand, they found out where their biological fathers had been buried from their homeroom teacher.
However, after entering the cemetery, Kichi and Haru find these gravestones, but Haru is not happy. Why? Because…
"How could they do this to me…?" Haru said darkly while being so, so pissed off.
Kichi noticed that and was taken aback by it fast. "Woah! What?"
The reason why is that the graves of their late biological fathers were placed next to each other.
Dropping his bouquet of flowers, Haru raged out. "Whoever is responsible for this crappy and disrespectful setup will die for their stupidity!"
Kichi was shocked and tried to calm his rage. "Woah! Calm down, Haru-kun! We're in a public place, so please don't shout so loud!"
But then, Ayato came to the scene and said to them, "It was intentional, you two." Kichi and Haru heard that and looked a him.
"Sensei?"
"What do you mean this was intentional, huh?!"
"Your fathers…" Ayato replied back while his arms were folded, "…are squabbling stepsiblings when they were still alive…"
Kichi and Haru were stunned and wanted to find out more about their fathers' long history.
And so, Ayato explained to them about it in detail. According to accounts, Kichi's and Haru's biological fathers were stepsiblings who shared the same mother but had different fathers. Haru's biological father's last name was Ishioka, and this makes Haru's former last name prior to his father's death Ishioka, too. And so, the names of their biological fathers are Kaori Sasaki and Michi Ishioka. But then, when the mother of the two men died, both of them fought over the inheritance she left for them. Ultimately, it went out of control, and Kaori, also known as Red Shadow, killed Michi for the inheritance money and got arrested shortly after that. And after Kaori was executed by hanging, he and Michi were cremated and had their ashes put in urns and buried them next to each other in that very cemetery.
After that long and detailed explanation, Haru and Kichi were mildly stunned and looked at each other for a few seconds.
