Chapter 578 - Return to Business (3)

With the issue at hand resolved, and the masters now turned City Lords… They left on their journey to begin construction of the new cities. I of course wouldn't give such responsibility to just anybody. I had seen through their hearts before and judged they would be good for the task. Even so, they'll need help in setting up a teleportation array. But that could be a matter settled for later, now it was time for the foreign elders to arrive.

"Young Palace Master, would it be alright if I ask you a question about what happened with that woman?" One of the managers asked, with a respectful bow and salute.

"Hmm? As long as you understand that I may not be willing to give the answer you seek." I chuckled, and motioned for the manager to continue her query.

"Thank you, I was curious why the woman earlier said that your touch felt like that of a woman's. I can clearly see that you're not a woman. And your ability to make that wonderful medicine shouldn't be enough to cause such a change." The Manager asked, her eyes filled with curiosity.

I remained silent, watching the curiosity slowly getting the better of the Manager. "Pfft, alright fine, it has something to do with my little sisters." I chuckled. "While we were born of the same parents, we were not born the same. The two of them were suffering under a painful, and deadly battle their sources waged inside their bodies. I had been restricting the progression of these powers fighting each other, yet I hadn't made a solution for them." I explained. "At least, that was until recently when I was able to experience it from their perspective. And now, the two of them have the ability to slowly quell the war raging on inside them." I explained.

The Manager looked concerned and confused. Then like a light turning on, she grew red at the thoughts passing through her mind. She was one of those women who adamantly refused the touch of a man, preferring the company of other women.

"Young Palace Master, I wonder how beautiful you were. I bet it was unimaginable." The Manager said, resisting the urge to squirm. Though her face betrayed her thoughts.

"Ahahaha, you'll have to ask someone else. I'm not repeating that ability unless absolutely necessary. It was a great time, but I do prefer being like this." I laughed, claiming my seat once more.

That was when some elders finally began coming into the Hall. The first to arrive was the elder from Yin-Yang Paradise. "Oh my, already with the laughter, perhaps I should have arrived earlier." Yu Xiang Die said with a light giggle. She was far more playful this time around, and also not alone.

"You might find it a bit at odds with your view of the world. I know it threw Mother Smiles for a loop and a half." I chuckled, with a smirk… Noticing the young woman, curiously near my age, behind Yu Xiang Die.

"Oh really, then? It must have been something quite interesting indeed…" Yu Xiang Die smiled, taking the seat that was prepared for her. "You didn't happen to transform to solve some crisis." She added with a knowing look, one I didn't bother entertaining with a response. "Ah, anyway, I hope it's alright that I've brought my disciple along. I want her to experience this meeting if that's alright?" She asked, knowing that I'd have to say yes.

"Very well, just keep her from interrupting unnecessarily. There is a lot to get resolved. And I don't want anyone not being on the same page. This isn't a simple war between houses… It's one I can confidently say we won't win without extreme preparations, and sacrifices. Many of those sacrifices have already been made. And as we speak right now, more are dying, holding back an endless infinite army of absolute evil…" I elaborated, keeping an eye on the reactions of the disciple. "Good… She can stay. You managed to find yourself a good disciple." I smirked.

"Huh, oh, thank you… After getting a copy of that method, she was the first one to fully adapt to it. And has had explosive gains as a result." Yu Xiang Die explained, not wanting to let the discussion end just yet. "Having her here to see the one who made such a profound method…" She continued, turning to see her new disciple was blushing, almost to the point of a fully flushed face. "Huh, what's wrong my disciple?"

"Master, that method was so detailed and accurate about everything… I had thought the creator was a woman with a similar constitution to my own." The Disciple answered, squirming a little as she did. "Now that I know it was the Temporal Thunder Divine Monarch… I… I… Can't help…" She started stammering.

"I'll have to ask you to stop there. Any further and I won't allow you to participate in the meeting." I said, interrupting the young woman. "While there are quite a lot of details in there that only a woman would know… You shouldn't use the same logic when talking about high rank open heavens. As it isn't as cut and dry as one may think. Your task will be to discover the reason and examine what it means for you and others." I added, giving her an assignment. "I'll note that most of the information is the same as the original method. I only made a few adjustments based on what I've learned. If you can articulate the answer to me after the meeting is done, I'll personally sponsor whatever rank materials you need." I finished, adding the extra incentive towards the end.

"Oh my, you hear that child? Do your best, I won't help you with this one. I'm curious to see your answer as well." Yu Xiang Die giggled, crossing her legs and taking a snack that was prepared on her side table.

"Oh really!!!! I'll do my best Sir Divine Monarch!" Yu Xiang Die's new young disciple said with an enthusiasm akin to something I've seen many… Many times before.

Shortly after, the other elders arrived, gave their greetings and took their seats. Some had their disciples with them and others didn't. But it was finally time… Finally the discussion about war preparations was set to begin.
