They entered inside to have a view. Just on the side, alone was a black cadillac escalade which Jelly Spatters admired. "I want that one....," he pointed at it, "how much is it?"
"One hundred thirty thousand US dollars," said the man in a black leather jacket who was smoking cigar, a dealer who appeared standing right a few metres from the side.
The female hunter vampire stepped forward with a lady's handbag in the hand. She opened it and in a blink of an eye, fresh bundles totaling up to $130,000 were displayed on the car bonnet.
Without wasting time, Jelly Spatters and his team entered inside the SUV Cadillac escalade as the lady from streets watched. The tinted car window slided down and through it, Jelly Spatters passed a hand with paper money.
He paid her the cash he promised.
The tinted window went back up and immediately the engine started. No receipt no nothing, Jelly Spatters and his two subordinates accelerated out of the dealership to the streets.
The lady from the street smiled excitedly after counting eight hundred dollars in hands she had made jokingly with not much efforts invested. She turned to the car dealer and said to him; "My commission!" after she read words written on the wall saying; "ten percent commission to brokers!!"
He paid her too; "Nice doing business with you," she said as she hid her money inside her light clothes close to the skin and turned around to leave; "what a darn blessing this is!" "Am resigning prostitution for ever," with much excitement she spoke to herself in a whisper.
Later the black cadillac parked right across, not far away from the night club. At the same time, a police patrol was at a stake out near the same night club and through the binoculars, a cop watched.
"Hey, you've got to be kidding me!" another police officer said, "we're here on a very delicate mission..., better stay focused!" cautioning his patner who was being distracted, watching the cadillac escalade through binoculars.
"This car is darn beautiful, I love it," the patner replied.
His colleague grabbed the binoculars off him and looked through to see clearly the car he was talking about.
"It's a real beast yes but stay focused," he advised and gave the binoculars back to him, "remember we've been patient for a very long time.... let's not ruin this opportunity!"
The patner was obedient enough that when he put back on the binoculars, he left the car alone and paid attention to the night club. Jelly Spatters and his team never stepped out of the cadillac. They relaxed inside and waited.
Hours later, Felix walked out of the club with a lady who was drunk and excited. His ferrari was brought to him and parked right infront of the club where they were standing waiting.
As customers, care was high key when the car doors were opened for them to get in and go. Felix was such a good man that he never forgot to give a tip to appreciate good services.
All this was happening under the surveillance by the police and on the other side in an escalade, Jelly Spatters and the hunter vampires were seriously watching everything which was going on.
"5004 over.... we need two backups on wall streets over... we have a suspect on the move," on a radio call, the officer in a police patrol asked for help from other nearby units.
Felix started to drive out of the place. The police started their engine to tail his ferrari and at the same time, the cadillac lights came on and it began moving, following the ferrari as well.
A second police patrol joined the course and from the side mirrior, Jelly Spatters noticed police behind. "The police is about to interrupt our mission," he told his team members.
Suddenly alarms from police cars went on with red lights on the roofs beaming bright and the speed increased. Felix heard the alarms and looked behind from the rear view mirror. An escalade was coming behind his car, right before the patrol cars which wanted to over take it.
When the escalade reduced its speed and moved aside, this was when Felix realized the police was after him and not the escalade. As a law abiding citizen, he pulled over.
Since the ferrari roof was open, Felix's hands were clearly visible in the air when the cops got out of their cars and ordered him to put his hands where they can clearly see them. Four guns came out all pointing at him.
What's the matter? Asked the lady in the passenger's seat who was worried and scared. She put her hands were up as well. The incident took booze off her head and made her sober.
Felix knew the reason why the police the police stopped him but he maintained silence.
"Out!" a cop shouted, "and slowly with you're hands were we can see them!"
Felix did exactly as instructed in a very calm state.
The escalade slowly passed by when Felix was looking at it. Jelly Spatters took off his shades and stared at him. The vampires can easily bond with eachother. Immediately the bond connected and Felix's face frowned in fear.
Felix sensed danger when he looked in Jelly Spatters' eyes.
The cops quickly handcuffed Felix without telling him the crime he had committed. His attention wasn't at all on the arrest but the cadillac escalade which was driving away.
"Hey! what exactly are you arresting my boyfriend for?" On top of her voice the innocent young lady shouted at the police officers who were taking Felix away.
"If you don't mind, you can as well come with us to the station," said the officers to the young lady.
But she couldn't dare step into any of the police cars for the fear to get arrested as well. She had just fallen for a man she knew nothing about and maybe she was after a one night stand.
Patrols took Felix away to the police station.
Time flew. Tsunami was standing in the window waiting for her lover to return home. On different intervals she checked on time. It was getting very late from the time she was expecting him.
Felix was in the cell standing calmly, facing the wall as he waited to be interrogated. The following day, two officers came by the cell to fetch him but, before bringing him out, handcuffs were put back on his hands to avoid danger.
He was accompanied to the interrogation room.
"So, your name is Felix, the young brother to Franklin Baron who went missing three months ago..! Tell us, where is your elder brother? Because his ship is now parked and when we checked, you listed it for sale not him," the officer in charge of interrogations began asking him.
On a chair he was sitting on Felix said, "I know you're aware that I have a lawyer. Kindly bring him to me."
"Mr Felix, you're such a young handsome dude with a very bright future still ahead of you. By looking into your case file, you have a number of cases attached to you which I believe you won't escape from... they're serious cases!" the officer tried to scare him.
"This is exactly why I need my lawyer here, Mr officer!" Felix responded carelessly.
The officers in charge had to work on getting Felix's lawyer by all possible means and later that day a lawyer was in the building.
Felix told his lawyer to call a lady called secretary Jamila who will link him to the young lady called Babara Yen. He gave him the contact which the lawyer wrote in the note book he was carrying.
"When you happen to meet Babara Yen, tell her am in the police custody and convince her to come and visit me. I need to see her urgently for very important matters," Felix urged his lawyer.
"Then go at the mansion and tell my girlfriend to take good care of herself, am safe and I will be home soon," he added.
The lawyer got the message clearly. He stood up and left the room.
"Back to business, hope you're now ready to answer my questions," requested the interrogation officer after fulfilling Felix's wish.
"What do you want to know?" Felix asked.
"We have Fifteen young ladies who have been reported missing in a period of one month and most of them have that one thing in common, you!" an interrogator stated, "Before they disappeared they were seen with you!"
Felix was quiet when the officer accused him of having a hand in the abduction of missing young ladies. The officer went ahead to ask him to tell where he took them and why.
Felix asked the officer whether he had evidence about the accusations, and told him not to waste his precious time keeping him at the station if there wasn't any, for he was a very busy man.
As police, they only had a clear video which was captured by the club CCTV cameras where Felix was with one of the missing girls at the club bar counter drinking while the girl was laughing in the conversation.
The interrogator placed a smart phone on the table infront of Felix and played him the video.
However, Felix knew about the video the day two police officers visited his mansion. Matter of fact he laughed it off, "Is this what you call evidence!! Hahaha... you're good at wasting people's time," he underestimated.
At the end of the video Felix asked the interrogation officer, "What's wrong with making friends in a public place like night clubs?"
"Different people in places where those girls go missing point at a rich young dude and when we show them your picture, they doubtlessly confirm the dude is you!" said the officer.
"And you call rumors evidence!" Felix confidently spoke wondering and beamed a jokey smile at the officer.
"Investigations have it that your brother Franklin Baron has been missing for some good time now and, his luxurious ship was docked at the shores on your orders," the officer said inquisitively.
"About my brother, he died after being attacked by a serious disease while at the ship," Felix answered painfully.
"How did he die?" asked the officer
"In the car when I was transporting him home, he died," answered Felix.
"Can you provide to us with evidence that it was actually a disease and not you who killed him ?" a question of doubt was asked by the officer.
"Why would I kill my brother who gave me everything I have today?" Bitterly Felix asked the officer and said, "If at all you've made enough research, perhaps you would have known how much my brother and I were connected!"
"You don't even have a right to mention my brother's name in these matters you darn officer! After our parents died when he was a teenager and I was only nine, he took care of me at the country side where we lived in tough poverty!"
"He made sure we travel in hardship to the city where we barely had a relative or anyone we knew. He did everything possible to make sure I go through school just like other children of my age by then."
"You know what it costed him? His manhood! My brother went for castration to avoid baring children in such tough times and focused only on taking care of me and himself, and improving our standards of living."
"You know why? His addiction was women. He knew his weakness and even knew exactly what it could cost him."
"People until now don't know why he used to flood ladies everywhere around him after he became super rich...! Now you know our secrets... Hope it will make you think twice!"
In grief, Felix narrated to the interrogation officer and in his eyes tears were dripping. It was enough for the officer to understand the pain Felix was going through and perhaps stop accusing him about anything concerning his brother.
For a moment, the officer fixed a hand into his pocket and got out a white handkerchief which he handed over to Felix. He walked outside of the interrogation room to give him some space.
"Am so sorry about your brother," sadly spoke the officer before he fully walked past the door on his way out.
It wasn't too long when the officer returned, not alone but with another officer who told Felix about the two officers who where sent to investigate about the missing ladies but went missing too.
With photos of theirs in the hands, he placed them on the table for Felix to see. Not only that, pictures of fifteen missing young ladies were displayed infront of Felix too.
When Felix looked at these pictures, flash backs began to hit him. He recalled those individual moments of how he killed each of the girls late in the nights, and how each of them struggled for her life when he was biting her neck vessel.
Some of them it was during fake romance against the wall, others it was fake romance in the car on the road side, then others in the mansion car garage and on the table inside the house when his canines sharpened out and penetrated their necks.
The illustrations really tortured him like a nightmare that he stood up and screamed, "NO....!" on top of his voice. The two interrogation officers where standing right infront of him watching.
"And the young lady in the passenger's seat in your car last night was about to become a victim too like these ones in the pictures!" exclaimed the officer.
"I'm not a demon.... I don't want to be one...!" Felix spoke, expressing emotional pain. He turned his face away from the pictures to the extent that he closed his eyes not to look at them.
His reaction obviously made it clear to the interrogators that he knew something about the missing young ladies, only that they lacked convicting evidence to use against him.
With handcuffs on, they held and took him back to the police cell where he was kept as investigations went on.
"We can't keep him here beyond forty-eight hours," said one of the officers, "and the witness we have says he's a very nice guy according to how he treated her at the night club."
"We all know he abducted those girls!" a colleague stated.
"No evidence, no case. Both of us know this very well," said the other officer, as they walked through the police station after keeping Felix in the cell.
Later that day, two cars stopped outside the police station and in the leading car stepped out Felix's lawyer. He walked the other side to open the passenger's door. Here stepped out Tsunami, Felix's lover.
In the black SUV car parked behind, a driver hurried out to open the rear door where two classy ladies came out. This was Monica Yen and her pretty daughter Babara Yen.
Monica Yen and her daughter Babara Yen were well covered in veils over their heads, scalford around their necks, dark shades covered their eyes and hand gloves to protect their bodies from direct sunlight which affected vampires.
From the passenger's seat of the same car secretary Jamila had already stepped out. They all followed Felix's lawyer to enter inside the police station. considering their physical appearance, officers at the station granted them maximum respect.
When they got inside the police station, they uncovered themselves to exposed their faces which made them look so lively inform of the many officers in the station.
"It's of great pleasure to meet you Pinky, am your biggest fan!" excitedly an officer mistook Babara Yen for celebrity Pinky.
Babara Yen developed question marks all around her face. She wondered why the officer addressed her as Pinky. Her mother was watching when an officer went further more to present a pen and note book, asking her for an autograph.
