Six men dressed in black were surrounding one man who had a child hiding behind him. The man had raven black hair and dark eyes. He was wearing a black top with a red and white fan on its back.
"Reyo the reaper, your head will fetch a fair bit of drinking money, so how about you make it easy for yourself and just lie down and die? We may let your kid have a quick death if you do," a smug ninja replied, pulling out two kunai and spinning them on his fingers as he moved forward.
"Now how did six mongrels manage to sneak into the village? Are the barrier ninjas slacking off?" The now-named Reyo snorted as he began to stretch. "If you're so determined to meet your maker, let us dance." He spoke in a soft yet ice-cold tone; his eyes began to shift to crimson as three comma-like marks appeared in them.
Swish
A kunai embedded itself in the ground before the kunai-wielding man could move forward, stopping him in his tracks.
"Crimson, be careful; he's still a ninja worth 50 million ryo and a top-tier A rank Ninja: Don't get cocky; keep formation." The leader growled as he stared down the reaper, never letting him out of his sight even for a moment.

AWAHAWHA A harrowing scream was let out as the one named Crimsons fell to his knees as blood splurted from the stump that used to be his arm; it had been severed at the elbow, sliced through like butter.
"Loud dogs always die first. Fire Style: Great Fireball!" He shot a giant ball of flames at Crimson, who was too preoccupied with the lost arm to focus.
"Water style : water wall" – a wave of water came to smother the fire as a ninja from the back had saved Crimson. "Ninja Wire seems that talking was just to get Crimson to lose focus."
"Retard, you're useless now!" The leader screamed in annoyance as he started throwing out hand signs whilst running towards Reyo, "Earth style Earth armour." His skin began to harden and become jagged, taking on the properties of rocks. Sparks flew from his skin as ninja wire scraped against it. "Just as I thought, you've set up ninja wire all around us." The leader stated smugly as he tried to engage Reyo in Taijutsu.
"That's an Iwa technique. It seems you're all rock fuckers. What are still angry about the war?" Reyo mocked as he sidestepped and dodged all of the leaders attacks, his sharingan allowing him to easily predict his opponents movements. The leader overextended with a punch, allowing Reyo to grab the arm and flip the leader over his shoulder.
SMASH
The impact of the slam created a crater. The other shinobi stayed behind, seizing the opportunity: "Earth Style – Rock Wave, Earth Style Rock Cannon, Wind Style Solid Slash."
BOOM
The combination of the Justus caused a massive explosion, kicking up smoke everywhere. As it dissipated, a figure slowly crept out of it. It was the leader, his clothes tattered, his body smashed and his eyes unfocused. Reyo walked out behind him, hitting him with a roundhouse, sending the leader skipping across the field. Reyo didn't even have dirt on his clothes.
"If nothing else, he makes a good shield." Reyo spoke with the utmost arrogance as he started throwing hand signs: "Fire style – Blast wave wild dance." Torrents of spiralling flames made their way towards the 4-man squad. One leapt forward and started throwing hand signs. A water wave spat from her mouth , but it was useless; the flames turned the water to mist and carried it forward. The water user was swallowed up by the flames completely. AWAHHHAHAHWH, the cacophony of her agony echoed through the battlefield whilst the others substituted away. "And then there were three."
A giant shinobi leapt from the trees; he dwarfed Reyo in size. He threw a punch at Reyo, who tried to block it in vain, as his guard was broken, and the force threw Reyo across the field into the air. As Reyo was in the air, a hand protruded from the ground, latching onto his feet, pulling him into the earth, burying him in the ground to his neck. The third shinobi appeared from the shadows and threw a few kunai that nailed Reyo in the head. "That was anticlimactic. Some reaper Yago only lost an arm. Grab Juzo, and let's get out before the leaf ninjas make it here," the giant shinobi retorted with his arms on his waist .
Yet his teammates didn't respond. "Kui Yumi come on, stop wasting time. We need to leave now. Grab the kid whilst you're at it; we'll throw him in the breeding program and get our own sharingan shinobi." Yet his team still didn't respond. Then the world seemed to turn red, with only black silhouettes moving around him – genjutsu – but before he could dispel it, his vision changed as the world turned upside down and his vison darkned.

The giant shinobi's head hit the floor. "Kui and Yumi, huh? You might as well show yourselves; hiding is no use. If you surrender, this will be easier." Reyo felt a strange feeling; someone had just tried to use a genjutsu on him. He instantly dispelled it and threw some kunai at the place where he sense the chakra
"DAD!" a scream instantly drew his attention, his eyes snapping to his son, who was trapped by Crimson hed been to distracted with the fight and it had cost him writing Crimson off with only severed arm
The IAW Shinobi had his son in a chokehold, his kunai pointed directly at Yami's neck: "NOW, YUMI!"
STAB
Before Reyo could react, he felt a sword stab him in the back as it protruded from his chest.
He finally put it together The genjutsu was layered; it was a distraction meant to deprive his senses, not throw him into an illusion, as he had mistakenly thought. The woman had layered one over the other to get past his eyes, clever girl. She'd used his arrogance against him.

Author's note: Remember this is an AU where Madara is the final villain, no Ōtsutsuki BS because I fucking hated it. No Boruto, and so Zetsu will be what Madara originally thought he was; his will manifests.
Also, since Naruto doesn't have dates or one timeline laid out, I will use Naruto's birth as year 0, and before that, everything will be (before Naruto was born ) BNB or ANB (after Naruto was born).
MC is two years younger than Tsunade, who was around six at the end of the First Shinobi War.
