The soul devourer tilted his head in confusion. He stared for a moment at Janea's eyes before words escaped from his lips.
"What do you mean Helra's betrayal? What did the Deity of Hope do, exactly?" Zeno asked and retracted the scythe.
"She fell out of glory as she got tricked by the First Sovereign into submission," Janea answered.
Zeno gave her a questioning look before stating his reply.
"Sounds like not some sort of betrayal to me," he said.
However, the deity shook her head and laid her body down on the bed. Her current position was quite alluring and intoxicating, but sadly, the man in front of her had his eyes only on one.
"It was! The fact that she entertained that annoying demon, she already betrayed us, and she even abandoned her duty, leaving her Septenary unattended," Janea insisted.
Then she looked straight at him and smiled.
"I know you're wondering why Sherise hid this information from you," she added.
