Buzzling streets with different kinds of merchants were the first thing that Kizeler noticed upon stepping into the vicinity of the empire's heart. Even the outside of the towering walls was filled with people lining up to enter the place.
"Too many people!" Leon exclaimed in amazement as he walked beside Kizeler.
At the same time, Kizeler was being overwhelmed by the city's architectural design. The columns of the walls were made of gold, while the posts were transparent and had a purple flame burning inside. It even had a phoenix carving on its walls. Then, up above, there was a floating mechanism; it had a few strands pointing in each direction. This made the entire place look like a dome with an invisible ceiling.
"I didn't expect that this place would be this amazing," Kizeler blurted out.
He was busy admiring the place when the two women he saw at the tavern earlier occupied his mind. Even though they left in a hurry and he wanted to tail them, he didn't entertain the idea.
