Sitting beside her on the bar, a black-haired man with deep amethyst eyes could be seen sipping on whiskey quietly.
''I'm going to challenge the tenth floor tomorrow'' Augustus said.
It's been four months since the day he cleared the first floor and currently was going to challenge the tenth floor tomorrow.
''Are you sure? You know that floor will be different from just you bulldozing your way out. There's also the fact that you have to do it solo and cannot be performed in teams''. Noel told Augustus.
''I know about it already and I don't have a team. I'd rather trust a mana beast than an adventurer in a dungeon'' Augustus said with a little smile.
Noel chuckled at his words,

''Of course, I know but why depend on someone else? It's your life, why'd you trust it to be in someone else hand?
Noel looked at him and sighed. The boy changed in front of her eyes in a few months. From a happy naive boy that sparred with her in the beginning to looking at him now, she felt he grew up to be good.
'At least he's cautious, maybe this one will not die'. She thought about various adventurers who never returned from the tenth floor.
''Well, I wish you luck, If you pass the tenth floor I'll give you a little gift, how about it.''
''Oh? Make sure to prepare a great present for me'' Augustus said with a confident smile.
He knew that tomorrow he'll be facing one of the hardest challenges he ever faced and it might take me weeks just to clear that one floor.

Arriving at the Inn, Augustus opened the door only to see the familiar sight of Ava serving the food to the customers while Arie was probably in the kitchen or something.
Augustus went up to his room directly and just lay down on his bed thinking of the past four months that he almost spent in the dungeon. He spent most of his time in the dungeon without caring about anything else.

Other than being able to fight beasts without using his mana, he also practised his telekinesis every day and it had a tremendous effect when combined with fighting the beast physically or with a weapon made of his mana.
Just a slight change in the movement of the beast with the telekinesis gave him the way to slaughter the beast.
Finally tomorrow he was going to challenge the tenth floor of the dungeon. He also found tons of information about why the dungeon wasn't cleared even after having so many powerhouses like the Guardians.

Also, every 10 floors will be a theme dungeon where every person has to take a solo test. It would give a great gift to the challenger who passed it but also killed many more adventurers.
It was also random so they had no way of knowing about their test. All Noel advised him was just to be careful and be wary because anything could happen in the test. From transporting and playing as a hero to killing the demon king to saving a princess. It was extreme.
The only thing that was confirmed was that the harder the challenge, the better the reward.
'No need to think about it too much, Just focus and You'll be able to clear it'' Augustus gave himself a little motivation before going to sleep.

After clearing a floor in a dungeon, You can leave your mana signature as the dungeon recognize you and could grants you the ability to go directly to the designated floor of the dungeon you cleared.
Arriving at the tenth floor, Augustus heart was beating madly due to excitement and fear of not knowing what is to come.
A familiar golden light covered him and he soon lost consciousness.

'I heard some one talking', Opening his eyes, Augustus saw the black sky over his head.
He felt all his body in pain and he looked around only to find himself in what looked like a warzone. Everywhere he looked were corpses. Some were burned, some crushed, some frozen and some just decapicated.
He felt nauseous just at the sight of so many dead bodies. Although he has killed before and would probably do it again, but to see such a sight was unnatural to him.
Looking over his right, he saw a men who looked a little old with black and grey beard and a long ponytail.
The man just stared at him and hugged him and cried while thanking gods for leaving him alive.
Augustus was too stunned to speak anything, he was trying to understand the trial with he saw some words floating in front of him.
