The street buckled, and fragments of stone shattered under the onslaught, the power radiating outward with palpable menace.
Perseus answered the assault with his own attack, summoning his crackling green lightning with a calm ferocity. "Let's see how you like my Thunderous Wrath!" he called, hurling a bolt that exploded in Basketface's direction, illuminating the street in fierce bursts of green. The air buzzed with the violent collision of their powers, and Perseus gritted his teeth as he held his ground.
