Julius stumbled through the strange air, gravity working in random pulses, like his own body didn't trust him. He blinked, and something blinked back. The sky blinked. The floor sobbed.
He stepped onto a stone path made entirely of spine bones and rusted keys, leading directly toward the only landmark visible: a cracked, floating platform where Montgomery knelt, clutching his head and moaning like he had a hangover sponsored by cosmic law.
Julius approached slowly
"...What the hell did you do?" He looked around before adding "And where are we?"
Montgomery looked up, pale and twitching. "You absorbed me! I'm dead! My glorious life- cut to a demeaning early end-. My, oh my! What have you done!"
"You absorbed yourself-." Julius snappd back, tugging at the air in frustration before adding "And I thought you were meant to be a competent soul healer."
"I was doing my job! Soul healers enter souls to heal them!"
"And get absorbed by them?!"
