Chapter 112 - Lisk's Tale

It was the fourth day after Julius entered his coma.

The sterile, quiet room was barely disturbed by the faint hum of machines keeping Julius's comatose form alive. Silleto, standing like an unmoving sentinel, watched him intently. Her expression was unreadable, but her mind raced. She knew he was in pain, he often winced in silence. She felt like she would stay with him for the first night, just to make sure he didn't randomly start choking on air.

"Plus if he dies... I'll have to take the hero's mantle." She said with determination and fiery passion in her amber eyes. "I know Kana wanted to do it, but she can't even be here because of her allergy."

She caressed her own grey hair and then Julius'.

"How is his softer than mine... Does he even use-."

She didn't need to be psychic to feel the presence creeping toward the door—someone was about to make their move.

"I can sense you." She turned around swifty.
